Rio:💚

This curse is cold.

I watch tortured souls through tired eyes, day after day. Escorting them across the bridge into death. I listen to the harsh words against my name, watch humanity suffer at my hands. Hands i cannot control. Hands i did not ask for.

"Im still a witch" i tell myself.

The original green witch.

I like to plant fresh trees where they have been cut, feel the sharp sting of a rose thorn, watch flowers grow, especially azaleas.

However i must also return the bodies to where they came from, collect the bones of broken men and women. They often blur into one. Ive seen so many people die, heard so many people scream and cry that i don't recognise them anymore. They're just a job to me.

My words will remain few. I have nothing to say but yet Im inevitable.

Agatha:💜

The cold was finally melting into spring. The Salem winter had been harsh this year and the village had barely gotten by.
I of-course didn't really care what happened to those fools, but i suppose only eating broth for months was getting pretty tiresome.

Today was Sunday so i had been at church all morning, singing hymns and speaking prayer. I never really cared much for church, i felt myself growing bored and uninterested in the practice and often a sharp feeling of discomfort would creep into my gut at the mention of sin.

As if every time i questioned, my skin started to burn.
(Gigi Perez i love you)

I shook off the feeling, pushing it down into my spine. The shivers stay there.
Tired, i walked home through the familiar woods where my family live.

We belong to a blood coven of Salem witches and my mother is the head witch who everyone follows. Although I'm not sure why because shes horrible. I don't think she loves me very much. She always said she sensed something was 'wrong with me' and when the time came she'd understand. But i never knew what that meant.

The sky was getting darker as the sun crept behind the trees and the moon rose. Glowing a beautiful silver, waiting for the dark blanket of night to cover the sky.

I often waited until it was dark to go home, i found comfort in it. As if it shielded me.
Plus i look hotter in moonlight, the sun washes me out.
I sat there rested up against a tree stump, reading my incantations when i heard a faint hiss coming from the grass around me. I turned my head to face a huge snake staring back at me, its blackened eyes watching closely. Usually creatures don't bother me, but i was well aware what kind of snake it was, and the poison it possessed.

Carefully i sat up, keeping my gaze on it. I thought of what spell i could use to make it go away but my mind was coming up blank. Id only begun learning and my power had been fragile as of late.

It grew closer, snaking towards me eagerly. I began to panic, knowing if i tried to sprint it would leap out and bite me. Not a boring way to go tho i suppose.

As i was reaching for a twig or branch to fend it off i felt a shiver of skin graze my hand.

"Dont" a sultry voice echoed through my ears.

"What?" I snapped my head towards the direction of the voice but there was no one there.

I cant explain it but it felt as if someone was watching me, keeping me safe from death.

Even stranger, the snake started the back away. As if something or someone had made it so. Sending it on its way, defying the usual course of nature.

I kept thinking about the hand i felt.

Where did it come from.

Rio:💚

I wandered through the trees as always waiting, taunted.

At first i thought it was a lost soul trying to catch up to me (it happens sometimes) but the more i searched the less death i felt.

I could feel something tho.

Something i haven't felt drawn to in a long time.

Power.

Pure witch power.

I followed the feeling until i reached a clearing, by the old tree stumps.

The usual empty space had been inhabited by a girl.

I lingered in the shadows, confused and intrigued by her.
She had long dark waves the flowed down her back, her skin was pale and creamy with blushed cheeks like the clouds after a sunset. Her eyes were a deep blue with hints of grey and almost...purple.

I watched as she leant into nature so naturally, as if she thought it a friend.

She had a certain spark about her, something powerful lingered beneath her bones although i was unsure if she herself was aware. That can be dangerous for witches. They don't realise their own strength until it consumes them...or others.

I looked down from her face (after staring at it for maybe a bit too long) into the grass to see a slithering creature creeping towards her.

'Hear we go again' i thought to myself, waiting for another body to fall victim to the unjustly poison of a passing predator.

But i watched her, eyes fixated on the creatures own. As if trying to reason with it only through sight.

Unsuccessfully she clung at her hands as the beast grew closer, hoping for a spark of magic to appear when she willed it too. When she could control it.

But it did not come. Not in the way she intended.

I crept behind her, feeling drawn to feel her. To understand her hesitation. To understand her fear.

She reached beside me for a stick or something to fight it off but i could feel the pull of death growing stronger and i knew this decision would cost her... her life.

I let my hand fall for a minute and it landed on hers.

She was...warm.

Without even thinking... (Gosh why wasn't i thinking) all i do is think. When you have no-one to talk to you become good friends with your own head.

I opened my mouth "Dont"

Was all i could say. But it was enough.

I shouldn't have done that. Thats not my job.

The snake moved away hiding beneath the grass and she moved away.

From me.

Confused and relieved she scanned the surroundings for signs of the person who whispered wisdom into her ear.

But im good at hiding.

Her cloak a deep purple flowed behind her and she walked away. Clutching to a tattered book, bound by a leather ribbon.

I stared at my hand for who knows how long that night.

The purple girl slipped out of its grip. But did i let her?

Hi guys. Long time no see. I have been obsessed with 'agatha all along' and think we all deserve the Agatha and Rio content we wanted. I wanted to create a story that tells not only how they might have met but how they fell in love, how it changed them, how it leads into the show and what may happen afterwards. Its just a made up story not canon but this is how i picture it. Theres lotsss more to come and lots more will happen in the next chapters this was just an intro. Love you alll enjoy💚💜
