The guy smirked as he looked at Y/n and said, "I'm sorry." He turned to walk out of the cafe, but Taehyung grabbed his hair from behind, Pulling him back to his original spot, and landed a hard Punch on his face. The guy fell to the ground, his IIPs starting to bleed.

Gasps filled the cafe as onlookers froze, watching the intense scene unfold. Taehyung's eyes darkened with a fierce Protectiveness as he grabbed the guy's collar, lifting him up, and threw him in front of Y/n's feet, Placing his foot on the guy's head, he Pressed down harder and said, "Apologize."

The guy groaned in Pain, his Pride making him resist. He tried to get up and fight back, but Taehyung's strength Pinned him down. Taehyung scoffed at his stubbornness, taking out his gun and Placing it on the guy's head. The metal glinted under the cafe lights as he repeated, "I won't hesitate even a bit. If you want to get out alive, apologize. Beg. Beg her to forgive you."

Fear finally set in for the guy. His eyes widened, and sweat trickled down his face. He tried to apologize, but the words wouldn't come out. Y/n watched the scene unfold, feeling a mix of satisfaction and discomfort, Seeing this side of Taehyung-so fierce, so Protective-was both alarming and oddly comforting.

"He's no fun," Y/n finally said, breaking the tension. She grabbed the gun from Taehyung's hand and, instead of shooting, she hit the guy on the head with the back of the gun.

The guy's head jerked to the side, and he whimpered in Pain. "It's even now," she said, handing the gun back to Taehyung.Taehyung looked at her with a mix of admiration and satisfaction, his anger slowly dissipating.

The guy, dazed and bleeding, lay on the floor, finally defeated."Let's go," Y/n said, grabbing Taehyung's hand and Pulling him further into the cafe. Taehyung smiled and followed her gladly. As they found a table and sat down, Y/n Placed his gun on the table.

"Your gun," she said, returning it to him. Taehyung Placed the gun back inside his Pocket.

The cafe slowly returned to its usual buzz, the Patrons whispering among themselves about the scene they had just witnessed.

Taehyung and Y/n settled into their seats, the tension of the Previous encounter fading into the background as they focused on each other. "Thank you," Y/n said quietly, looking outside the window. Taehyung looked at her, and she turned to meet his eyes. She continued, "For standing up for me."

Taehyung chuckled. "I like it when you say thank you." She glared at him, making him laugh louder. After controlling his laughter, he replied softly, his eyes full of warmth, "It's okay. No one should mess with you on my watch."

A waitress approached their table, her voice slightly low, "What can I get for you two?"

Y/n glanced at Taehyung and then at the menu. "I'll have coffee. Should I order something else for you?" she asked.

Taehyung replied, "I'll have coffee too." Y/n asked again, knowing very well he didn't like coffee, "Are you sure?"

Taehyung nodded. She turned to the waitress and said, "We'll have two coffees," smiling to reassure her. "Coming right up," the waitress said before hurrying off to Place their order.

Unbeknownst to them, Y/n's father's man, who had been keeping an eye on them, was also in the cafe, observing their every move. He discreetly called someone, and after a few rings, the other Person Picked up. "The guy with Y/n is carrying weapons. I haven't seen him closely, but I'm sure he's Kim Taehyung, younger brother of Kim Namjoon. I need more men, send them quickly," he said before hanging up. He did his best to stay hidden. As Y/n and Taehyung waited for their coffees, the tension from earlier seemed to dissolve completely. They chatted about lighter things, enjoying each other's company.

Taehyung's laughter and Y/n's smiles filled the cafe, replacing the earlier tension with a warm, comfortable atmosphere. When the waitress returned with their coffees, Taehyung took a sip and tried to hide his distaste.

Y/n noticed and chuckled softly, "You really don't have to drink it if you don't like it."

Taehyung smiled sheepishly. "It's okay, I have a beautiful view in front of me to distract myself from this bitter taste."

Y/n shook her head in disbelief, slightly flustered. "You're unbelievable."

Outside the cafe, several cars arrived, Positioning themselves strategically without getting out, waiting for further instructions from the man inside the cafe. Taehyung felt like something was going on. He glanced around cautiously but saw nothing out of the ordinary. He turned back to Y/n, determined to keep the mood light and carefree for as long as Possible. As they finished their coffees, Y/n looked at Taehyung, a Playful glint in her eyes. "Ready for the arcade?"

Taehyung grinned. "Absolutely. Let's go have some fun."

They stood up, leaving a tip on the table, and walked out of the cafe. The man who had been watching them discreetly followed.

He watched them get into the car again, quickly signaling his men to follow them without getting caught.

As Taehyung started the car, he glanced at Y/n. She looked at him too, giving him an assuring smile. He looked forward, a smile creeping on his face as he started the car.

They drove off, unaware of the cars tailing them. The man who had been inside the cafe with them made another call, "They're on the move. Keep a safe distance and wait for my signal."

There was a heavy silence in the car. To break the awkwardness, Taehyung started the conversation, "I'm a little overdressed, aren't I? I mean, I hope you're not uncomfortable. I dressed up like we're going on a date or something."

Y/n bit her lip before saying, "No, you're looking Perfect, In fact, I'm underdressed. I got no beautiful dress and no makeup skills.

Taehyung looked at her, feeling instant guilt about bringing up this topic, "I'm sorry, you're getting it wrong. You're looking more than Perfect for the day. I was just saying that I'm overdressed. "Y

looked at him, giving him an assuring smile, "It's okay"

Their conversation was interrupted by a call. Taehyung checked the caller ID. It was Namjoon. He quickly Picked up the call, keeping it on speaker. "Hey hyung, what happened?"

Namjoon said, "Y/n's father has sent some men to get her. They're following you both. If you're heading to the arcade, don't go there. It'll be more dangerous because arcades are usually crowded. My men are on their way. You both should return home for now. They'll take care of them."

Taehyung clicked his tongue in disappointment. "No hyung, it's okay... I'll take care of them." Namjoon replied, "I know, but a bunch of People are following you. Y/n will be in danger along with you. It'll be a lot better if you return back home."

Taehyung checked the rearview mirror and recognized the car following them. He was silent for a moment. Y/n also checked the rearview mirror. "I think we should return home too," she said. Taehyung nodded, speaking to Namjoon, "Don't worry, hyung. I'll be back soon."

Namjoon sighed on the other end of the line. "Just be careful, Tae. Your and y/n's safety is the Priority."I know, hyung. We'll be fine," Taehyung reassured him before ending the call.
