Don't you get it? I don't love you. I never did. I was in love with the idea of you, of us.

This isn't what I wanted. You're not the person I thought you were. It was all a lie. Every word, every whisper you directed at me was accumulated from a mountain of built up expectations on how to act when you were around me.

Don't lie, I know you don't love me. You never did.

Frankly, we were both just fascinated by the prospect of finally finding love.
I guess we got lost along the way.
