Sierra, now 15, strolled down the boardwalk of Energy City with her mom, Electra. "Hey, want to play some basketball?" she asked.

Electra grinned. "Sure! I saw a hoop down that way. Want to use it?"

Sierra shrugged and raised her left hand absently in front of her. To her surprise, a glowing blue basketball hoop appeared out of thin air, floating and moving gently. She gasped in shock.

Electra's eyes widened. "Sierra! You... you just created that!"

"Created what, Mom?"

"That hoop! You conjured it out of nowhere. Sierra, you have magic powers!"

Sierra's face lit up, but there was a hint of disbelief. "So... does that mean I'm... a fairy?"

Electra nodded, beaming. "I think so! We just have to figure out what kind of fairy you are."

Excitement flickered across Sierra's face, though she looked a little uncertain. What kind of fairy am I? she wondered.

Sensing her daughter's excitement and curiosity, Electra had an idea. "Try conjuring a basketball."

Sierra concentrated, and a light blue basketball formed in her hands, glowing faintly.

"Great job!" Electra cheered, a playful sparkle in her eyes. "How about a little game? First to twenty baskets wins?"

Sierra's eyes narrowed, a hint of competitive fire flashing. "You're on," she replied, giving the floating hoop a gentle nudge with her hand, sending it moving down the boardwalk. She took the first shot, and with a satisfying swish, the ball sailed through the hoop. She quickly passed it to Electra, who caught it with a smile and tossed it back—but missed by a sliver. Laughing, she hummed softly, then tossed the ball back to Sierra.

The two played back and forth, laughing and cheering as they took turns shooting. With the final shot, Electra made her twentieth basket and threw her hands up victoriously.

"Good game, Mom," Sierra said with a smile, not discouraged in the least by the loss.

Electra shook her hand warmly. "Good game, Sierra! You have a natural love of winning and competing. I could tell by the way you stayed focused and didn't let the score faze you." She paused, a realization dawning on her. "Wait—that's it!"

"That's what?"

"Sierra, I think you're the Fairy of Competition! Your magic comes from your love of the game and the joy you find in competition. That's why you can create sports equipment and keep such a balanced attitude."

Sierra's face brightened, and she hugged Electra. "That's awesome, Mom! Thank you."

Electra smiled, hugging her back. "Keep loving the process of winning, Sierra, and you'll always be a winner."
