"Hmmm..." You leaned over the sink, staring at the thermometer that was flashing numbers in front of you. There was a throbbing in your head and a slight ache in your joints.
*KNOCK KNOCK*
"Jagi, are you okay?" You heard Jimin's raspy voice from the other side of the door.
"Yeah, just washing up." You tucked the thermometer away and began to actually start brushing your teeth and washing your face. Of all days that you could fall sick, it just had to be today. You chewed on your bottom lip, trying to figure out what to do.
"Suck it up." You concluded, splashing yourself with cold water. Finally, you opened the door, only to have Jimin glue himself to you, hugging you tightly.
"Happy anniversary, jagi." He smiled sleepily. You giggled, leaning in to kiss his cheek. Jimin went to wash up while you headed back to your room. How could you hide your elevated body temperature from them?
Digging into your own medication stash, you took some paracetamol tablets to try and suppress your fever and body aches for now.
"Love?" You heard Yoongi's voice.
"Come in." You replied as you finished the last few buttons on your shirt. Yoongi gave you a small smile, looping his arms loosely around your waist.
"I went to Jimin's room to find you but you weren't there. He said you came back to yours to get ready for the day." He explained. You nodded your head with a soft smile.
"Happy anniversary, love." He leaned in to give you a kiss.
"Happy anniversary, Yoongi." You chuckled. A wave of dizziness hit you but you managed to hide it by just leaning against his chest, closing your eyes for a few seconds as you felt him rest his chin on the top of your head. You just enjoyed the warmth that he was giving off, the two of you savouring the peacefulness that encased the room.
"You alright?" Yoongi asked softly.
"Hmm... Just enjoying being close to you." You replied. It wasn't an entire lie. Yoongi was probably the only one you could count on for peace and quiet.
"HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABY!" Jungkook burst into your room, slamming the door against the adjacent wall loudly. You and Yoongi broke away, you laughing while Yoongi glared at the youngest.
"Happy anniversary, Koo." You smiled. He marched over, the biggest grin on his face as he lifted you up.
"I love you." Jungkook giggled.
"I love you too." You said as he began spinning you around. Your stomach was churning uncomfortably but luckily, before anything could happen, Yoongi stopped him in time.
"Let's go down to see the others." You suggested. Jungkook nodded, going down to pick Kookie up in his arms. You headed down with the two boys, surprised to see the living room nicely decorated. It wasn't like a kid's party but still had an air of celebration to it.
'HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! We love you!'
Was hung across the glass doors in big, gold letter balloons. You giggled as the other 5 boys came to you. You all exchanged wishes of a happy anniversary with hugs and wishes.
"Shall we go have breakfast?" You asked them.
"Nope! We're doing a brunch picnic! Everything has been prepared so just enjoy today, babes." Taehyung kissed your head.
"It's your anniversary too, boys. We should be enjoying it together, not just you guys doing all the hard work and planning everything." You crossed your arms with a conflicted sigh. The boys all turned to look at you.
