Unique Attributes

Scales: there are scales in place of skin most everywhere, equally scattered and mostly red-orange, with a few sandy brown lining scales blending the brown human skin with the red-orange lionfish scales.

Ear fins: Like most merlings, in the place of human ears she has ear fins, long and webbed with spiked ends that protect her ear holes. It is pierceable, and she has gold hoops at the base of each.

Webbed: Both hands and feet are webbed, with claws in place of nails that are usually very sharp when kept up. Shoes aren't used by the majority of merlings, their scaly feet enough to protect from the ground when they walk.

Vision: Merlings can see in thermal sight and have excellent night vision, especially when underwater.
