PAIN
Life is full of pain, the sooner you accept this, the better. But pain is not always a bad thing. All wounds either heal or scar, when they heal, move on, when they scar, look at your scars and remember that you survived and learn from your scars to keep going.
A life without pain is dull and boring. Pain teaches us the realities of our world. Not everyone is good-hearted, not everything is as it seems, you cannot always succeed in everything. But getting cheated makes you sharper and more aware. Being wrong about something or someone teaches us to neither judge nor praise too soon. Failure is necessary, if you never fail you never know the extent of your strength, nor do you know your limits. Failing is also proof that you have the courage to try and venture into the unknown.
A life with too much pain is hard and punishing. But even when you feel like it is all too much, that it has become unbearable to live, remember, This too shall pass. Life will not give you more than you can bear. And even when everything is dark and there is no one to hold a light for you, the light is present and will become brighter with time and dedication.
Suffer too little and your evolution will be slow. Suffer too much and you will evolve too quickly for your own good. But either way, it is your job to deal with it. Learn from your pain and that of others, make the most of suffering, turn it around in a way that benefits you, by learning.
Happiness
Sometimes, you may feel like you are unstoppable, like you are on top of the world. You are happy and things are going great and you can do no wrong. But remember This too shall pass.
Do not let happiness make you weak. When all you want is being happy, you risk being vulnerable to yourself and to others. Your pursuit of happiness can make you open doors that will lead to disapointment.
Your happiness should not depend on external factors but rather on your ability to make the most of whatever situation you find yourself in. Accept your losses, and you will love the game. Do not take things too seriously or be affected by factors that you do not controls. Things happen, and it is up to us to decide what we do. Realise that you have the ability to choose how you react, and only you can assign importance to the events you go through. You create your own happiness, it comes from you.
Even when all is well and everything is going according to plan, remember that your happiness comes from within. So that when it all goes wrong and you feel like there is nothing you can do, you are still content because you know that it will pass.

Non-FictionI started writing a book about the lessons I learned throughout my life. A mix of stoicism and realism. These are the first two mini chapters and I would really appreciate some feedback and constructive criticism as a first time writer. Thank you
