Nika and Kate spent the entire week wrapped up in each other, their bond growing stronger with each intimate encounter. Each day brought new levels of passion, desire, and tenderness, as both women explored and surrendered to the depths of their connection. Nika couldn't help but marvel at the way her body and heart responded to Kate's touch, the way their souls seemed to intertwine in perfect harmony. She knew that what they had was rare and precious, and she vowed to cherish every moment they shared.

Nika was in the living room cleaning up the dinner the two had just shared. She was startled when she heard Kate start running down the hallway

Nika's attention was abruptly snapped away from her cleaning as she heard the sound of Kate's hurried footsteps echoing through the hallway. Concern washed over her, and she quickly set aside the last of the dishes, her mind racing with questions. "Kate? Is everything alright?" she called out, her voice filled with a mix of confusion and worry. Nika moved swiftly towards the hallway, her focus entirely on finding out what was going on with her partner.

Kate was grinning ear to ear running down the hallway. Nika barely had time to react before Kate was upon her, jumping into her arms with a wide grin plastered across her face. Nika stumbled back a little, caught off guard by Kate's sudden burst of enthusiasm. "Whoa, whoa, baby!" she exclaimed with a laugh, trying to regain her balance as she held Kate close. Nika couldn't help but be infected by Kate's excitement, a warm smile spreading across her face as she asked, "What's got you so riled up? I thought something was wrong for a moment there."

"Caitlin wants to come down and see us!" Kate cheered. Caitlin and Kate haven't seen each other in months, and now that Kate was clean and healthy she was so excited to see her bestfriend

Nika's expression brightened as she realized the reason behind Kate's excitement. She beamed at Kate, her voice filled with warmth. "Oh, that's wonderful news, baby! It's been such a long time since you two have seen each other. I know how much you've missed Caitlin, and I can feel how happy you are." Nika held Kate close, sharing in her joy. "We'll have to plan for her stay here, make sure everything is ready for her. When is she coming?"

"She wants to come down this weekend!?" Kate smiled brightly.

Nika's face lit up with excitement as she heard when Caitlin was coming. She hugged Kate tight, sharing the hype. "That's even better!" she exclaimed, grinning. But then she stopped, remembering something totally important. "Wait a sec," she said, pulling back a bit, "isn't this weekend my birthday?" She met Kate's eyes, a mix of anticipation and emotion in her gaze. She wanted to celebrate her birthday with just the two of them, but now she wasn't sure what was gonna happen.

As Nika shared her thoughts, she couldn't help but feel a bit selfish for wanting this weekend to be solely about them. Yet, she also wanted to be understanding and supportive of Kate's excitement to see her best friend. Nika's voice was filled with a mix of vulnerability and love as she continued, "I've been eagerly looking forward to celebrating my birthday with you, my love. Is there any way we can make some time for just us this weekend as well, or is Caitlin's visit taking priority?"

Kate just stood there, not knowing what to say to her girlfriend

Nika noticed the hesitation in Kate's response, her concern growing. "Baby, please, be honest with me," she pleaded gently, her voice filled with a mix of love and anxiety. "Is there room for us to have some special time together this weekend, or is Caitlin's visit taking precedence? It's okay to say what's on your mind—I want us to communicate openly and resolve this together." Nika's gaze remained on Kate's, her eyes searching hers for an answer.

"I'll just tell Cait to wait to come down." Kate sighs, she pulled her phone out to call Caitlin

Nika's brows furrowed hearing Kate's response. She could sense the underlying disappointment in her girlfriend's voice, and she didn't want her to feel that way. Gently placing a hand on Kate's phone, she whispered, "Wait, baby. I don't want you to do anything out of obligation. I know how much you've missed Caitlin, and I don't want to be the reason you're not getting to catch up with her. We'll find a way to make this work, I promise."
