[OWENS POV]

"Wait no! Magic please!-" I yelled after Magic as she left the prison, walking down the hallway and up the ladder, leaving me alone. Just me, the lava and my voices who were getting louder and more difficult to ignore by the second. "Ugh.. JUST SHUT UP!"

That surprisingly gave me space in my mind to make some thoughts, remembering the incident maybe five or four months ago. Krow's escape from the prison. "....im an idiot- that damn demon escaped here so.. so can i! Anything that creature can do i can do better"

I started to desperately pull and dig at the terribly filled in tunnel, im glad I took out Guts early since if I hadn't they would've filled up the tunnel significantly better than that weird -dragon born thing did.. it wasn't too hard to pick up where Krow hadn't been bothered to fill the tunnel fully, atleast it did something in my favour.

The lava picking at my heels was only making me go faster, before I knew it I was in the demons weird underground house, it looked trashy before and now looked worse after the lava started to flood it. Though i could still get out, the first and last time I've been grateful for that damn demon and its bad habits.

As i clambered up and onto the patchy butnt grass the sounds of the remaining clearing members had faded far away, they had ventured into the dark maze without me.. atleast that gave me time to plot how to escape and more importantly, finish off that demon.

"I wont rest untill that- that thing, that creature of hell, that monster, was gone."

I quickly slipped out of the forest, pushing away the memories of that other demon, technically she was the last one I had killed and yet, I need her to just.. be put to the side. I could see the tall trees burning like firewood, I was the only one there but if I didn't get out soon the clearing would go uninhabited. Not too bothered about that fact.

Sighing, I hobbled over to the campfire and grabbed anything I could find, a decent amount of food, water and a dagger, and ofcourse my good friend. "Aww spear i missed you~ ready to go get another death on your 'name'? Who am i kidding ofcourse you do~" honestly the spear was the only thing I had left that I could trust, the clearing hated me, all my 'friends' were dead and former allies couldn't care less about me anymore.

"I did them a favour and this is how they treat me? That thing is dangerous. It nearly killed Acho, it nearly killed Magic, who knows what else it could have thought of doing and yet they have the... the audacity to try and bloody protect it!"

As I angrily rambled I hopped on the few parts of stone and grass that wasn't on fire or nearly absorbed by the lava, eventually making it to the dark maze. Ready to go get rid of that demon if it was the last thing I did in this hell of a clearing and maze, if I go down that lower-species goes down with me.

[THIRD PERSON]

So off Owen went, following after the others, successfully making it through the dark maze while staying hidden in the darkness, he was noticed maybe once or twice, though disappeared fast enough to make anyone who saw him think they were just going crazier than they already were.

Luckily the ash and dirt from his escape drowned out his scent enough that Krow wouldn't notice him either, unless it was checking for him specifically but it seemed more bothered with being edgy and being impatient with everyone to even think twice about the possibility Owen was still alive.

The group made it pretty far with Owen trailing behind them, making it into the other maze. The one with walls of books and grievers around many corners. Owen was able to slip in by a crack from the 'outside' to get inside unnoticed. This was a perfect time to strike, he had seen Krow walk off angrily after it's failed attempt at getting information out of Magic. Only fueling Owen's hatred towards the demon.

[KROW'S POV]

I was walking around angrily after Magic had gotten me caught as I tried to get information, it was very annoying trying to sulk while having Kyle yell at me to not run off and to also try avoid the grievers that were around every corner "Ugh this is boring and this dumb maze is so fucking annoying! I shouldve just stayed dead, enjoy eternal happiness or some shitt..."

I trailed off and looked behind me, I heard footsteps, normally I'd just be annoyed that I couldn't sulk on my own but this time they felt familiar, too familiar..

"Heya hell-spawn."

That voice was something I did not want to hear.

"Seems like we both have fun coming back from the dead, right?"

[I am stopping here because this shits getting long- ill do a part two though to continue (hopefully) hope you enjoyed reading this!]
