I walked through the bustling, loud hallways at Moon Academia, a place full of every fantasy creatures imaginable.

We can't go the regular school because of hunters, or just humans in general, because they'll hunt us down.

Especially sirens.

Hi, I'm Rei, a siren!

Cool intro, am I right?

JK.

"REI!!!"

"Hey Heather." I smile.

Heather is the most popular girl in our school, no lie.

So obviously, I'm popular as well.

Win-win.

Heather, she's a fairy. Noble status, may I add. She sorta the leader of us all.

Then, we were joined by James, a werewolf. His pack is the second-most powerful in the USA. (He's the alpha)

Lastly, joined by Iris, also a fairy, of noble status as-well.

I'm pretty high on the siren status, so that makes us the powerhouse of the school.

People usually think we're mean, snobby, and pick on people, but we're the opposite.

Everyone respects us, in a good way. Like, they-don't-fear-us kinda way.

"James! Did you get your schedule yet?" says Iris.

"Nah," he sighed. "My parents have been nagging me to get a mate. But like, I don't want too..."

"Poor you..." says Heather.

I nod in agreement.

"Do all alphas have to have a mate?"

"Preferably."

"Oh, ok."

And with that, we headed to class

"Lunch! OMG, I'm like, literally STARVING." rambled Heather.

"Did you guys see the new kid?" asked Iris.

James and I shook our heads.

"Apparently, he's a human. His name's Ezra, and he's in this lunch."

I spitted out my water (not literally).

"HUMAN?!" me and James exclaimed.

"Yea. Like, what if he's a secret spy? Y'know? So weird. The teachers are keeping a super close eye on him......."

A boy walking in caught my attention.

He had dirty blonde hair, with gorgeous hazel eyes.

Damn.

"REI!"

"Huh?"

Iris sighed.

"Someone's got eyes for the humann~" teased Heather.

"W-What? No way....you mean...that kid?"

I pointed to the kid who just walked in.

Iris nodded.

At this point, I couldn't deny it....

I had fallen for the human
