"Ezra! It's December FIRSTTTTTT!!" I sang.
He chuckled.
Me, Ezra, and the crew were gathered at my house to celebrate the holidays.
"Well, let's open the advent calendar!" declared Heather.
Iris fluttered her wings, took a bat while James held out the advent calendar, and smashed the day one door.
We whooped as Iris picked up the prize....
"And its....." she started.
"Cookies! And they aren't broken, by the way."
Ezra, Heather, and I cheered.
Iris bought the cookies to my dining table, and we ate it quickly.
Before we finished, I stopped them.
"This'll be for my sister." I said.
"What about Cosmos?" asked James.
"It's ok, we'll save one for your little boyfriend~!" teased Ezra.
"You cannot be talking." replied James while pointing at me.
We spent the rest of this snowy winter day playing in the snow like little kids.
It was the best day of my life...but I knew it's about to get better.
