YOU WERE SURE you looked like a madwoman with the way you were twiddling your fingers and constantly looking to your sides as if you were running away from something.

contrary to the concerned thoughts of the old woman sitting across from you, it was actually the opposite.

a week had passed since the groupchat incident, and honestly you were scared to even try and talk to them again. how bachira ended up adding ego was something you would probably never find out... and maybe it was for the best.

this also means that it's been a week since you applied for a manager position here at blue lock—and out of at least 200 applicants, you were one of the select few chosen for the job. well, almost. you had to go through an interview.

you were scared shitless.

training for the blue lockers already begun a couple of days ago, meaning a lot of their classes weren't exactly mandatory for them to attend. it explained the reason why isagi would come back to your shared dorm during late hours, rarely really even getting to have a full conversation with you.

it also explained your disappointment as you didn't have your resident bumblebee to entertain you during your most dreaded class, or on the flip side... no ninja or crow to get on your nerves.

you remember the fear coursing through your body as ego called you after class so very menacingly, just to tell you that you'd have an interview with a few of the coaches that would determine if you were good for the job or not.

and so, flashforward to your position now, awkwardly waiting for a european man to come determine the rest of your time at blue lock academy right on a tuesday evening.

this, combined with the fact that you somehow felt more exhausted since your arrival to japan meant that the quality of your sleep was little to no good. your classes were scheduled at irregular and annoying times (who came up with the great idea to have their classes at 7:00 am and 6:30 pm?), as well as the most inconvenient places. on every single weekday.

you hoped that whoever came to interview you would take at the very least the slightest bit of pity at your state.

with your eyes nearly threatening to shut, you mumble pitifully to yourself, "so tired..." it wouldn't hurt to get just a little shuteye, right?

"...Ist das die neue Managerin?"

"silencieux. et non, pas encore."

"pshhhh. Mittlerweile schläft sie sogar."

at the sound of multiple voices your eyes suddenly open wide paired with your hands hurriedly fixing your hair and flattening your clothes. you stand up to see two men looking at you curiously, one moreso than the other.

you first notice the taller one with the muscular build and buzzed white hair, his yellow eyes nearly piercing into your soul. "huh.." you think he looked familiar but couldn't quite put your finger on it.

the one that really caught your attention was currently looking at you with amusement, blue eyes going up and down your form. he was anything but ordinary, blonde-blue ombre hair and a blue rose tattoo right on his neck. it didn't take a genius to figure out what his favorite color was.

you internally roll your eyes, "attention seeker much?"

and as if sensing your displeasure, the blue-rose boy speaks out loud in a thick accent, most likely to the man beside him, yet keeps his eyes on you. "ein Amerikaner... dieser hat Einstellung! Sag ihr, sie soll aufhören, mich so anzusehen, ja?"
