SA'NAI P.O.V.

I woke up with the worst stomach pain and I had to throw up. I never been this sick in my life. I threw up all the soup from earlier and yellow bile.

You okay? Jai asked as he rushed into the bathroom behind me. He grabbed my hair holding it up as I threw up my entire insides. I nodded my head yeah as it just kept coming out. "Do you wanna go to the hospital?" He asked grossed out.

No I'm fine. I took a deep breath and flushed the toilet and got up. He gave me a cup of water to wash my mouth. He placed his hand on my head to check my temperature.

You're not warm. You sure you don't wanna go?

I'm sure...I just need to lay down.

He grabbed the medicine and gave me a cup. I threw it back and took a sip of the ginger ale. He picked me up and carried me to the bed. He tucked me in and I cuddled under him. "Thank you, I appreciate you." I whispered to him laying my head on his chest.

That's what I'm here for baby girl. He kissed my forehead and wrapped his arms around me. "Still think you pregnant though." He laughed.

Shut up! I playfully hit his chest and wrapped my leg around his. "It's just the flu!"

Yeah okay! He laughed kissing me again. He grabbed his phone from the night stand and I started to fall asleep on him while he watched basketball highlights on YouTube.

I woke up to his phone ringing back to back to back. I hit him in his chest waking him up to get or turn it off  or something.

Baby! Bae! I shook him tryna wake him up. "Jai'Ceon!" I yelled his name.

What's wrong baby you okay?

Your phone get it please, I have a headache. I sobbed as tears came to my eyes. It was 7am and I was being woken out my sleep by a phone just really did something to me.

Yo fuck is you calling me for? He asked angrily into the phone sitting up on the side of the bed. "WHAT? WHAT HOSPITAL IM ON MY WAY!" He jumped up so quick and ran to his closet to get dress. "I'll be back later. Rock just got shot!"

What? Is he okay? Want me to come with you?

No stay here, you sick. I'll call you in a bit ight. He leaned in and kissed me.

Okay be safe. I love you!

I love you too! He said as the sound of him walking away followed him. Owe man I hope Rock was okay. I know Jai'Ceon would lose his mind if something was to happen to him. I grabbed my phone and went on my social media pages and the first thing I see was a news article post about a shooting that happened in a night club last night. That must of been about Rock. I just hope and pray he makes it through and have a great recovery.

I felt okay for a bit so I got up and went downstairs to the kitchen. I wanted to try and eat something since I felt like I was starving and haven't aten in months. I grabbed a toaster strollers and popped two in the toaster. I made some scrambled eggs and bacon to go with them.

You still here? I asked Alix as he came into the kitchen.

Yeah I think I got what you got. He said trying to make his voice raspy and sniffled.

Yeah right! I laughed. "You know your father is going to freak out on you he finds out you're not there." I mentioned to him and he huffed his breath.

Come onnnnn, I don't wanna go if you not there! You're the bestest estes teacher ever.

Bestest estes! Isn't a word! Im an English teacher you gonna pull that with me?

But you're also my step mom. He smiled so hard with his hands folded to his chin giving me the puppy dog eyes.

Okayyyyy, fine go back to your room! I said giving in. I was such a sucker for puppy dogs.

Yessss thank you! Best step mom ever! He yelled excitedly running over to me kissing my cheek and running off.

Wait! Do you want breakfast?

No! He yelled back as he kept running. Welp more for me. I made another plate and devoured my food before I got sick and tired again. I just hope I don't throw this up I was so hungry a minute ago. And this food was so good.

I went back upstairs to lay down and I was cold. I pulled all the covers over me and snuggled under them
Before I went back to sleep.
