My doors are closed, my eyes are closed
The light is bright and I'm so dark
I feel it in my bones, and I feel it in my heart
I'd like to run away
But there is nowhere left to run
run, run, run away,
I'm going nowhere anyway
There is no end to the earth and back
And life's all the qualities I lack
Pebbles, stones and bricks
I still feel pain from long ago
You think you've won but I've just quit
My watch had gone and died long ago
You think you've won and that's just it
My sleeves are as empty as my icy heart
Run, run, run away
I have nowhere to go, anyway
I've done my time and fell in line
And there's nowhere left to stay
Run
Run away
I've drawn the line, but that's okay
I'd end up a monster, anyway
I took my dues and cut the queues
And there's nowhere left to stay
Nowhere left to stay
