(First time trying to use informal language for a poem😭🙏 I might go back and edit this but it's like 11 and I'm sleepyyyy)

Symphony Of A Dove
A symphony from a bird snug that
God is the word
And God is my light
God is the only man that is right
So don't go hacking and backing on your ideals
For attention
For praise
Or anything the world offers.

The worlds not your savior
The worlds not your tailor
It can not mend and alter your problems
Like the lord has promised.
Instead it'll rip it apart
Jabbing holes in your sweater
Tugging threads further and further
While the spirit is embracing a learner
Tugging them closer and closer.

the lord will not enter your home unannounced
He'll knock and eagerly await your approval.
Accept his proposal,
by Tucking the hairs planted by God behind your ears
And clasp the knob of the radio
To discard of any distractions produced from the world
And carefully listen to the harmonies of a singular bird
Containing Gods word
And rebuke those of a tailor you once preferred.
Through a simple listen
You'll discover the path is not so blurred
Instead willing to lead are various birds and monarchs
Sculpted by the very artist who molded you.

So be grateful
You live in a moment blessed by his grace
Instead of lollygaging with unanswered prayers up in space.
The lords kingdom is a sacred place awaiting your arrival
Yet the only way to unlock the gates
Is by humming the doves melody to every flock you see like a broken vinyl.
