[Abandoned] Seven Years... [Natsu x Reader]

Chapter 4

[Y/n]'s Point of View:

The moment my chest hurt, I felt the tears come. The figure I saw, just disappeared, and I soon passed out on the floor.

*TIMESKIP*

"Hey....Makoto.  Hey......WAKE UP!!" I yelled, slapping him in the face. "Hm?? What?" Makoto sat up quickly and dumbfounded. I scooted back a bit, staring at his face. It was obvious that he was really tired.  "What is it that you want?" Makoto asked me. I felt my anger raise again. "Seriously?!" Once again, I slapped him, but on the back of Makoto's head. "It's practically evening! We need to go get some dinner! Do you want to starve?! "

My brunette friend then got up and groaned. "Okay, Okay, Jeez [Y/n]." He walked outside of the cave and jumped off from the somewhat, small cliff. I ran after him. "Hey! Wait up!" By the time I got over there...Yep, you guessed it, he was gone. Makoto loves to ignore me, doesn't he?

Makoto's Point of View:

As I ran quickly through the woods to get to Magnolia, I passed the place [Y/n] used to call home. Although, this time...there seemed to be more of a racket than the last few times I've passed it. I slowed down a bit, and started walking slowly. Instead of walking towards town, I ended up going towards the guild's door. From what I could hear, there seemed to be a lot of crashing and throwing in there.

CRASH

"Ughhhh...." I moaned in pain. How unfortunate...it's not like somebody gets a table thrown in there face a day! I rubbed my sore spot for a while. Was it just me, or did the silence get softer....or is it just me getting dizzy or loopy? Next thing I end up seeing...or, hear, is someone yell out my name. It didn't sound like [Y/n], but it did sound familiar. "Romeo...?" My consciousness coming back to me. A group of people over me, looking down at me as I was found on the dirt floor. Man, these things just keep happening so quickly. "Makoto-kun! Are you getting dinner? Why were you coming towards Fairy Tail?" The young boy questioned. "Ehe....." 

"Romeo? Who's this?" A loud voice spoke out. "Oh, this is my friend Makoto." A long load of questions were being asked over and over in a continuous row. My mind being jumbled up in a big weird puzzle. The people crowding over me, eventually went to Romeo and asked him questions since I really couldn't exactly process as quickly, because well...I still haven't recovered from my recent hit that I took. I managed to slip away from them, and ran into town to finally get to my goal. FOOD.

Or, I'd have a VERY pissed friend, waiting for me at home.

[Y/n]'s Point of View:

"Dammit Makoto." I whispered, as I ran through the woods to find Makoto. These trees and bushes are really nice, but don't exactly help me run faster. I passed many trees and bushes, I even passed a pile of nuts. When I got closer to getting out of the forest, I heard a lot of noises. My body stopped moving, as my whole body grew stiff. 'I forgot...this..this is where Fairy Tail is. Is there a problem going on? An attack?'  I took a peek, but soon the loud yelling of questions stopped. I felt as if somebody was staring at me. Coming back to my senses, I didn't know what to do, so I just ran back to the cave. (So much for running after Makoto...)

Natsu's Point of View:

I stared into the forest, as I just heard a bit of shuffling. "Eh..?" I asked myself, 'Was somebody there or-?' 

"Oi, Natsu! You heading home or are you gonna stay here for a bit longer?" Lucy looked at me funny, while the others went back inside the guild. I thought for a short moment. "I think I'll just stay for a bit I guess...I'm leaving if Happy gets tired." I said casually, scratching the back of my head. "Ah....alright then. Better not break into my apartment!" Quickly, and out of nowhere, I started waving my hands around in defense. "Don't worry about it, I won't!" The blonde just stared for a while and went back into the guild. My hands eventually stopped, and as I was just about to walk back inside, I saw Romeo run out of the guild. "Hm..?" I gazed at him in question. Turns out, he was running into the direction of where I was just glaring at a moment ago. Curious, I followed him as he passed a few obstacles of trees, bushes, and roots. I tried not to make to much noise, until I tripped over a root and fell into a bush. Romeo still ran further and further.  I jumped out of the bush and ran after him. "Don't loose sight of him, Natsu!" I whisper/yelled at myself. Soon, I grew tired, and started to jog a little bit. "Man...can that kid run."

"Hey! I brought some food and things for you and Makoto-Kun!" Romeo exclaimed happily, pulling out a bag, and raising it up at a cliff. 'What..?' I leaped into a bush (Bushes...Bushes everywhere when you need them.), still peeking out to see if the person was gonna pop up. A shadow was cast over Romeo, I looked up, and saw a girl with her hood up, and a cape draping behind her back. "Thanks Romeo." The girl tilted her head sideways and looked down at Romeo. She seemed to be examining his facial features. "You...seem happy...and you said san..why? You never say that and the guild was just attacked, wasn't it?" Romeo shook his head. "No, the guild, everybody, Master...T-They came back!" The girl flinched. She frozen, and stayed stiff. Taking her hood off, it revealed a familiar face in tears. "Everyone of them returned?" Romeo nodded. He climbed up some rock steps that were just made out of nowhere, and got to where the girl was. "Tell me what happen exactly..." She said, as they both walked away from me. The rocks still stayed in it's position, so I dashed towards it and carefully, but quickly, up them to get to the top. I was almost there, when the rocks started to close in on me, I got nervous and started running up the rock stairs. Not bother to watch where I was going, I tripped at the little ledge of the cliff that had been popping out a bit at the top. I fell face first, and groaned. But I just completely forgot...

"Uh...Natsu-San?" Romeo came out of a dark cave and walked towards me. "What are you even doing here?" He stared at me, I began to groan some more. Raising my head, I looked up at him, when the girl walked out of the cave. "Natsu..?" That voice...it was...familiar...but different. I realized... "[Y/n]? What happened to you..?" 

(A/n) FINALLY, I typed a long chapter this time. It sort of had a few difficulties, so... this nearly took me most of my time.
