so guys, yesterday I got some really bad news, and today I thought of sharing it with you because I can trust most of you to understand.
see, the thing is, I was having a really shitty day yesterday, with a terrible cough, and having to stand outside in the sun for about 3 hours due to practice for my school function.
but when I got back home was when I received the worst news ever.
my cousin's dog, who we all treat like a sibling, and is really dear to us, had passed away.
I felt so bad I started vomiting, and when I called up my aunt and uncle, they seemed to be crying too. no doubt for a good reason, as he was a dog that really influenced the family a lot.
my uncle, who always hated dogs, big or small, loved him when he came. and that was incredible.
the saddest part is that he was just 4 years old, and we weren't even with him when it happened.
we had gone out of station for a few days, and left him at the shelter. the day after we returned, as my aunt was getting ready to go and pick him up, they got the message that he had suddenly collapsed while playing there. they took him to the doctor, and he said that all the organs were fine, so it must have been cardiac arrest.
we immediately drove over to their house, and my aunt seemed to be in the worst condition of all, as she was the one that always walked and fed him. I was actually quite surprised to see my cousins being strong and telling me that it was alright, as that's usually what I do to them, as the oldest. I really am proud of how much they've grown.
R.I.P Odin. You will always be in our hearts.
