Akiko woke up inside of the mall. She was on a bed like the kind you'd find in a furniture store. It was strange because she woke up in the middle of the food court.
Out of the darkness came 3 shopping carts. Oh sweet lord, it was the ones from the stories...

Aki tried to remember what they were called, she never really payed attention to that. According to her memory, Bart was the cart with the white eyes, Fart was the cart with the black eyes, and Nart was the cart with the white eyes and black pupils.
Nart came up first, he was the leader(ly type). He spoke in an exaggerated bri'ish accent.
"Ello, gov'nah whatcha' doin' heeah'?", said Nart. "Uhh, why are you British?", asked Akiko. "Wha- why are you a girl?!" "Touché... HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?!"
The carts then explained that it was indeed the power of imagination that brought them to life. Akiko explained her situation to them and they said that she could stay for a while.
