This retelling of the classic 'Snow White' tale stars Akiko, a woman who is forced hide in an abandoned shopping mall with 3 strange shopping carts with faces as the town she lives in comes under siege by a mysterious nautiloid being.

Akiko snootily walked up to the mall's top floor. The light from the skylight was as golden as the golden slime she saw in those instagram videos she always watched. Looking directly at the son, then closing her eyes from discomfort, Akiko prayed.
"Oh lord, please answer my prayers and give me guidance! I am trapped in this mall for my own safety, but I do not feel safe with these troublesome shopping carts!"
She got an answer.

A large red hand reached through the open skylight. Akiko hopped out onto the hand and was taken up to the clouds... She could not see who was carrying her, so she thought it was god.
She was wrong.
Akiko entered and exited a cloud. When she exited, she saw the dinosaurs die and become Diesel fuel, she saw the being who ransacked her town be born in a world where he was the first sentient being to ever exist, and most importantly, she saw the asteroid hit, though, it was not really an asteroid.
The hard-to-explain large yellow figure flew towards the ground in a conscious effort to kill the candy-cane colored nautiloid creature.
It failed mistake, killing everything except for its target.
The nautiloid being was in pain, horrible burning pain, but it could do nothing to stop it. It writhed in agony for years until the fires ceased. Still, to this day, the creature thought, what if it was better to be burning inside the interior of a diesel powered locomotive than to be alive to tell the tale of such horrible things.
