When I was very young, whenever my father came home late at night drunk, he would wake me up, sit me on his lap, and talk to me.

'Lina, men, you know. They have to succeed no matter what! Do you understand? You absolutely cannot live like your father!'

That was one of the few memories of my father that remained in my mind.

Although they were not harmonious, they were an ordinary family no different from others.

Until my father passed away.

That day, which happened during my childhood, has now become a distant memory.

When someone called, my mother ran out in a panic, and my brother and I waited for her at home all day without knowing what was going on.

When my mother returned home late in the evening, she left my brother and I behind, went into the bedroom, closed the door, and sobbed quietly.

Hearing that sound, I instinctively knew something was wrong.

My father's cause of death was a fall. The safety devices were inadequate and the on-site response was immature. An unfortunate accident that often occurs on-site.

The head of the household left behind a small amount of compensation and left in vain.

After the funeral, my younger brother and I were left at my grandmother's house.

My mother, who used to come to see my younger brother and me once a week, came to see us less and less as time passed.

I never saw my mother again after her visit on my 12th birthday.

I realized a little too quickly that my mother would never come back.

Then one day, I remembered what my father had said to me.

'Lina, you have to succeed, you have to succeed.'

But, Father, how on earth can I succeed?

As a child, I had no idea what I had to do to become successful.

I want to succeed.

One night, when I couldn't sleep at all, I was looking at my sleeping brother's face and wishing earnestly, when a strange phrase began to appear before my eyes.

- Achieved 1st place in English test class (0/1)

'What is this?'

It was a phrase similar to a game quest, but the phrase I saw before my eyes was a phrase that appeared in reality, not in a game.

Even after waking up, I kept seeing strange phrases in front of my eyes, so I told my grandmother about this without thinking much about it.

After hearing what I said, I saw my grandmother hugging me with a pitiful face, and I headed to school without saying anything.

Even while I was taking classes at school, strange phrases kept bothering me.

I was first in my English class? There was nothing I couldn't do.

If I achieve my goal, will I be able to learn more about the strange thing that happened to me?

Since it was going to happen anyway, I decided to take this situation as an interesting game.

Last time, my English test ranking was 5th, a score I got after studying briefly the day before the test.

'Okay, I don't know what's going on, but let's give it a try. There's no harm in studying anyway.'

After I made the decision, I added two hours of English study time to my daily routine, which was the same every day.

And a month later, I took the final exam and got a perfect score in English.
