There you were, 1st day of senior year.

So this is what it felt like to step out of your comfort zone - much different fron picking up ripped pages in front of your house - but nonetheless, you felt very overwhelmed.

You look around, taking in the unfamiliar faces of each person. Not like you ever bothered on memorizing them, let alone want to learn their names.

It was strange, really. As you walked through the halls, squeezing yourself towards the principals office to get your daily schedule.. you couldn't help but feel annoyed.

You had to study hard to get a scholarship, and this is what you get? Bumping into random people as if this wasn't supposed to be someone school only the rich and/or intelligent go to.

I guess there's too many of those nowadays, and that made you feel worthless.

You then bumped into someone, a girl who didn't look much older. In fact, she might even be the same age.

"May I help you?" She asked, fixing her glasses with a smile. She's definitely someone who's objective is to be everyone's friend.

Then suddenly, someone bumped into you again, the girl caught you just in time. But it wasn't the same for the other party.

You found the guy on the ground, and you held your hand out to help him.
"Are you okay?" You asked, you didn't find it necessary to strike an actual conversation.

The man looked at you, his red pupils were all too familiar.

"Yes, thank you." He said in a quite low voice, before he stood up and walked away again.

The amount of times you ran into that man was weirdly uncanny.

2. Weirdo, how would you find that uncanny?

Well then after all, you didn't leave your house much, and you weren't likely to remember past encounters. Maybe it's the fact that he has red pupils?

Unlikely - you have a girl with pink hair staring at you right now. Holding you tight as you struggled to get back up.

In the end, you got your schedule.

---

You walked in your classroom, to see the same man messing with your desk. Or so you assumed, well it did look exact like that, so you pushed him away.

"I'm surprised you've managed to fill up my desk with random words other than the synonyms of clumsy." You were annoyed.

Tho from this day on, wave goodbye to your dreams of being a background character.

"I was wiping the marks away. That's what I got as punishment for being late." The man who you learned to be Ivan said.

Oh, that was embarrassing. But still what did you ever do to deserve this treatment at your first day? This doesn't even make sense.

"And the words, woman. They weren't for you, they were directed to the girl who used to sit here - I'm sure you knew that considering how it wouldn't make any sense - but I felt the need to tell you."

He stood up and left, planning to continue the cleaning after classes.

You sat down, taking notes in your shabby old notebook who you didn't want anyone to see. Luckily nobody cared enough to even glance your way.

---

After classes, you made your way to your dorm, only to be paired with Mizi, the pink haired girl, along with some black haired girl.

You settled down and arranged your stuff.

Afterwards, you decided to get to know more about the people you were going to spend the whole school year with. You found out that the black haired girl was Sua.

Maybe the school wasn't so bad, you all got your own beds, and the room was surprisingly clean for a highschool dorm.

"Are you guys going to attend the rooftop party? You know, in honor of Acorn finally leaving the school! No wonder people trashed his desk, he was so rude - and so unnecessarily nice to Sua only!"

Mizi exclaimed about how Acorn was close to Sua, did she like Acorn or something?

"Okay, enough. Let's head to the party." The other girl said as we all quietly crept up the stairs and went to the rooftop.

The people there were having a blast. Most of them were dancing, singing, rolling around. Name it.

You decided to sneak off to the other side of the rooftop, only to find Ivan already there.

As much as your delusions wanted to believe that he was waiting for you, he looked like he wasn't expecting company, let alone be pleased with the idea.

He agreed to let you stay there, as long as you kept your distance. You both watched the stars, something that would calm anyone down.

"Say, new kid. I like this guy, who's inlove with a girl, who's also inlove with a girl."

Ivan says, he wasn't ashamed about anything that came out of his mouth. And you looked at him in an almost traumatized look.

What is going on in this man's life?
