...I slid down the wall my hands covering my ears not wanting to hear anymore. Tears were streaming down my face now and the thought of escape faded. The sound of Jane's laughter and my mother's voice slowly faded as I screamed. The only thought running through my head was why am I not dead yet?

~Angel's POV~

It wasn't long until my screams died down turning into the sound of crying. I curled up in a ball and stayed there. I couldn't hear my late mother's bitter voice anymore, but the words she had said felt like a knife wound. I should be dead with the rest of my family, but here I am...alive. My brother killed them and I would of been killed to if I had been there.

~Flashback~

It's been almost an hour since my family left to get Jeff and I left just after. He's getting his bandages off today and will be coming home. I don't intend to be here though. I could have done something, but I didn't I just ran away. Liu hasn't said anything else to me about it, but he has asked about my bruised up hand. I told him to mind his own damn business and of course our parents heard me. I let out a frustrated sigh and decided to sit down underneath a tree.

As time passed it slowly became darker and I got up heading home. I was just about home when I seen someone run out of the house, they looked to be covered in blood. I didn't move and watched them as they cut into the woods. I walked cautiously to the front door and headed up stairs. "H-Hello"I stuttered as I walked towards my parents room. I didn't even have to look inside to know they were dead. There was someone laying by the door blocking the way in and a pool of blood was heading into the hallway. By now I could here sirens and the sound of my heart pounding in my ears. I shot down the hallway to Liu's room, hoping like hell he wasn't in there. I threw the door wide open and screamed at the sight before me. I started shaking and I walked across the hall to Jeff's room. Liu was dead and Jeff was gone...

~Flashback End~

If I had been there that night I would be dead and I wish I had because all I've done these past few years is run. I'm tired of running away from everything. I could here someone trying to open the door. No doubt it was Jane again. I heard the wooden chair break and soon the door followed. I curled myself up into a tight ball as footsteps came closer to me. "What are you doing here"A voice asked. I didn't answer...I couldn't answer. "Angel"The person yelled and grabbed my arm pulling me up. "Let go of me"I screeched kicking whoever it was making them drop me. They reached for me again. "Stay away! Just stay away"I mumbled curling myself into a ball and starring down at the floor. "Jeff I can't find anyone else. We need to go before Jane wakes up"A voice said. "What do you mean you can't find anyone else here? She has to be here Smile"The person growled. I lifted my head slightly and seen Smile, behind him was an unconscious Jane. "Angel what are you doing here"Smile asked. I pointed at her. "It kidnapped me and brought me here. I ran up to hide, but it followed me"I said. I heard laughter come from beside me and looked up. I seen Jeff. "Jeff we need to go NOW"Smile stated. They walked out of the room and I stumbled to my feet following them. I watched as Jeff walk over to the barely conscious Jane and picked her up by the throat. "Where is she"He asked slamming her into a wall. She started laughing and I covered my ears. Her laugh, her voice it was like nails on a chalk board. I couldn't block it out. "Your so pathetic. Your sister's dead"Jane said in an insanely amused tone. Jeff took out his knife and she began laughing again. Something told me I needed to move, that if I didn't run now I'd be dead,so I ran.

~Time skip~

When I had finally stopped running I found myself back at my old home. The police weren't there anymore which lead me to wonder how long Jane had me there. I went inside and headed up the stairs to my room. "Why didn't I just listen"I mumbled. "You'd be dead if you had"Someone said...
