The group are still trying to find Vermillion City after having made a new friend in Charmander but unfortunately they are still lost, hopefully they find their way

The group were walking down a path as they looked for Vermillion City, Ash was off in his own world as he walked in front of the group before he stopped when he noticed his foot sinking into the ground
Ash: huh?
This caused everyone else to stop and look at Ash before the ground gave way and they all fell into a pit
Misty: No! Not another hole!
Brock: Ow! I landed on my head!
Ash was heard groaning
Liam: Who dug this pit, anyway?
Eve: Eeve- Eevee! (Yeah I wanna have words!)
Brock: It must be a prank.
Misty: Someone has a bad sense of humor.
A quintet of Pokémon peer down into the hole and laugh at the group trapped inside
Brock: Who are you?!
Misty: What's so funny? We could have been hurt!
The Pokémon continue to laugh and stop peering into the hole just as Ash climbs out
Ash: Dangerous practical jokes are nothing to laugh about!
Pikachu: Pikachu! (I agree!)
Misty and Brock climb out of the hole and they soon realize who and what their pranksters are
Liam: hey it's a quintet of Squirtle!
Ash & Liam pull out their Pokedex
Pokedex: Squirtle, this tiny turtle Pokémon draws its long neck into its shell to launch incredible water attacks with amazing range and accuracy. The blasts can be quite powerful.
Ash: With my very own Squirtle, Gary will never beat me, go Pikachu!
Liam: Ash are you sure about this?
Ash doesn't listen and Pikachu charges a thunderbolt attack towards the Squirtle's leader but before it could land another Squirtle jumped in the way and took the hit
Pikachu and the lead Squirtle stare down each other, almost old western style, until a distant police siren is heard, causing the gang of Squirtle to retreat to the confusion of everyone
Ash: That was sure weird.
Liam: I wonder why they ran
The source of the siren arrives, Officer Jenny riding in on a motorcycle.
Officer Jenny: Are you guys alright? Has anyone been hurt here?
Ash: Officer Jenny!
Liam: how ya been
Officer Jenny: Huh? Have we met before? Your faces don't look familiar.
Ash: We met you back in Viridian City, remember?
Liam: and in Cerulean City
Officer Jenny: Oh! You mean two of the other Jennies, my cousins.
Ash: Cousins?
