Dean, Cassie, Agent Sterling, and me stood in front of a girl who looked like Lia but I knew it couldn't be her. She had a long white skirt and a white shirt that looked like rags and she stood in front of Holland Darby.

"Lia, Get your ass in the car, now." Sterling demanded, Lia didn't budge. "I've found serenity here with Holland, I want to stay." Her eyes didn't dare find mine which felt like the knife going into my stomach twisted deeper, "Lia... what are you doing?" As if Holland could tell I was Lia's weak spot he stepped in front of me, blocking my view from Lia.

It was Agent Sterling's turn to step between us, I could see her cocked gun at her hip, "I suggest you step away, or it's going to get ugly." Darby does as he's told, Dean spoke up, "Lia don't do this, think about Y/n,"

Lia's eyes flickered to meet mine, "my friends, I'm sorry, but I've found my place here." I'd heard enough, I stormed out and walked back to the car where I let myself completely break, I sobbed into my hands not caring if at any moment, Cassie, Dean, or Sterling came back to the car and saw.

The day after, I couldn't sleep. It was late and I was sitting on the counter deep in thought, I heard something rustling but I didn't pay it any mind, I could hear a voice, "you were always a sulker."

Lia.

I whipped my head around, tears pricking my eyes, "Lia. What are you doing here?" I hopped from the counter and approached her, I looked down at her wrists. She quickly moved to the mini fridge and grabbed two four dollar Doctor Peppers and handed one to me, "you cut yourself." Lia met my gaze.

"Of course not." Lia turned her wrist over to examine the damage as she lied to my face. "Those lines just magically appeared and were not in any way a method by which to make sure Darby bought my story about how empty I feel inside." My glossy eyes didn't go away.

"Hurting yourself isn't apart of a costume, Lia," I gave in and hugged her tightly, "I hate you for what you did," she chuckled softly, "you're a bad liar my sweet." She hugged me back tightly.

"I gathered some information though." I shake my head, "that's great, but I want you alone right now." With that I pressed my lips to hers, what went on after the fact is history.

The next morning we all rallied up in the kitchen, Judd gave Lia a quick talking to which surprisingly she stayed quiet and gave a response that wasn't filled with sarcasm. As Lia told us her information, she pulled out a vile.

"He could be drugging them, you'll have to test this." Agent Sterling took the vile and nodded, then she, Cassie, and Sloane went to pay Holland Darby a visit.

The boys were off doing whatever so it was just Lia and me, sprawled out in front of case files and video footage. "Why didn't you look at me? When you were being 'converted'?" Lia didn't move her body to turn to me, she just started talking.

"I would've cracked, Darby would have seen a flicker of emotion and he would sense I was lying about everything." I sigh, "and the cuts?" I asked unconsciously reached for her sore right hand, "I don't want to talk about it," I rub her hand with the pad of my thumb. "Let's just look at these files, okay?"

After about forty five minutes, Agent Sterling called with some news, "okay. We'll be there." Lia lifts her head up from the couch, "you have gotten to stop volunteering me for things," I roll my eyes and pull her arm to help her up from the couch, "we need to get down to the church slash secret room with skeletons."

Once Agent Starmans escorted us to the church, we met face to face with Sloane, Celine, Cassie, and Agent Sterling. "A man and woman." Sloane blurts out obviously reading my puzzled face as I crouch down in front of the skeletons, "he," I start.

"Wasn't chained up antemortem, he was chained up after he died." I stood up, Agent Sterling spoke up, "why would Darby chain a man after killing him?" Cassie at my right, Lia at my left, Cassie spoke up. "We're missing something, come on." I quickly trailed behind her, Lia behind me, and Sloane behind her.

Once Judd decided it was too late and we needed to go to bed and we could survive off of coffee, Lia and I lay face to face per my demand. I was half asleep before I heard her voice call out.

"I am sorry Y/n."
