Chapter 3: Love and Lust

" Guten morgen liebling," says Tom as he opens his eyes slowly turning to look at me. " Buenos días mi amor," I reply grinning ear to ear. I don't know when it started but since we were kids we always greeted each other in our mother tongue and once we got back together it seemed to be a habit we picked up again. We lay in silence for a few minutes before he speaks first " You need to get more beauty sleep , we have a long night ahead of us ." I had almost forgotten about tonight it's the big Met Gala event followed by the annual Kardashian after party so from the moment we leave this room it will be Go Go Go. Usually I would've said no to any event that required us to be in the same vicinity as Kendall but since my team said it would look good for my image to be there I must oblige . Besides , I have a lot of trust in Tom I know he would never do anything to hurt me again the way he did all those year's ago he knows I would NEVER forgive him . He has had plenty of chances to do something with Kendall or any other woman for that matter as he is one of the most eligible bachelors of New York . I have never been the jealous type with any of the guys I've dated before but when it comes to Tom , the Latina side of me takes over and if looks could kill I swear there would be a lot of dead reporters and celebrities . I push those thought out of my mind and decide to get some more sleep before my prep team gets here since Tom is heading out soon.
I hide back under the covers as Tom starts to move around in bed and before I know it he's under the covers with me softly kissing my back and slowly moving up to my ears . I see him off and just as he rounds the corner of the apartment I hear the clicking heels of my glam two approaching my apartment, I panic and close the door making sure no one heard it. I back away from the door just as I hear a knock and I wait a few seconds before opening it to see Emily and Alexandra standing at my doorway with cases glam prep. " Hey beautiful! So glad to see you , did you get any sleep you look exhausted and flustered but don't worry we'll-" Emily was quickly pushed out of the way and interrupted by Alexandra " Alright plenty of time to catch up later but now we have to get you ready for the big night so come sit !" She says as she pushes me towards the hair and makeup chair which I obediently plop down in knowing exactly how much time it takes to get ready for these events . As they begin to work their magic I can't help but get lost in my thoughts about the past and I slowly start to remember those bittersweet memories ...
