All Hailey knew was the Limelight. Her parents started getting her hired as an infant to do stock photos for businesses. She then did pageants when she could physically do so. And she quickly got more fame and more gigs.
She stayed humble though. She always thought that one day she would be last week's news, and the next best thing would have this life. So, she always made sure she spent her money wisely.
Her parents wanted to live a grand life. But she refused. She had threatened to stop working if they went against her wishes. She wanted to have a nest for everyone to fall on if her fame disappeared.
She made friends in school, but didn't use her fame to be popular. She hung out with everyone. Mainly the ones who were bullied.
She took good care to make sure her grades stayed good. She didn't have the perfect grades. But she worked hard to have graduating grades. It was a lot of work to do that mixed with her career. She had to turn down opportunities or have them reschedule things to fit her schooling and homework in.
She didn't keep relationships long. She learned that they liked the fame from dating her. So, she would quickly drop them. One cheated on her as she refused to sleep with him.
She was just happy to have the small number of true friends she had. Her parents grew out of the whole, wanting to be lavish a few years back, which she was happy about. She didn't like how money was making them.
She never knew of what the price of Fame really was. What was on her owed thanks to her parents. She never knew. She couldn't think that's how things were in her life. She was just grateful for the Fame she had.
And while she hoped that she kept the fame for as long as she breathed, maybe even after her last breath, but if she didn't keep it, she will be happy either way.

Currently, she was working on new songs. Hailey was always writing her own songs. She would take a break every two years to have a mental break and then start working on new songs. It worked best for her. Sometimes she'd get an idea for new songs when she wasn't on break.
But she preferred to write on her mental breaks.
This break was almost over with. She had a lot to finish. Finish the songs, help make the music for the songs, record them, do the album or single cover, get the choregraphs down perfectly, and all that before the next comeback tour starts.
Sitting back and rolling her neck, Hailey sighed deeply as she looked around her. She was in her cabin. She loved the mountains. She liked hunting here with her dad. It was peaceful here. It was quiet, and she loved taking the breaks here.
She got so much done here.
She never wanted to leave when it was time to go back.
When she is made to retire, she would fully move into the cabin and live her life out there.
She looked up seeing her best friend and assistant David coming in. The light from the lamps hitting his bald head. "You're going to blind me." She teased. "Be blind bitch." He sassed handing her a soda.
She laughed softly as she took it.
Her sassy and flamboyant best friend David was a Hispanic queen. They met when she was staying in New York five years ago. She had recently fired an assistant whom she found was stealing her things to sell online.
He saw her crying in a cafe by the condo and bought her a drink. He didn't know who she was at the time as she had been hiding her face. But he offered to listen to what she had to say, and almost had a heart attack when he realized who she was.
But he kept his cool, and even offered to take her back home safely. They learned they shared a condo, and they started hanging out. She then hired him as they got along so well.
He defiantly was the best person to have by her side. He was even helping to write a breakup song she is writing on her lying and cheating ex.
David sat down and looked at what Hailey had written down.
She started humming a tune, one she imagined for the lyrics. He nodded as he got to the end of what she had. "I like it. Very cunty." The two grinned at each other.
"Very Demure. Very Mindful." They said together at the same time before laughing.
She leaned into him. "Thanks for coming over. I know you don't like cabins in the woods." Hailey mumbled. He took her hand. "Only for you, boo." He told her. She smiled. "Just think. Your twenty first is coming up. We going to partay!" He cheered.
She laughed. "Imma give you your first shot, and don't worry, Andy promised to be the D.D that night for us." David told her. She groaned. "Can't we just buy alcohol and celebrate at the house?" She asked pouting.
"Nope. You're going to party your pretty ass off. I'd say your tits off, but you need tits to do so in the first place." He teased, making Hailey slap his arm.
The two laughed. "Come on. Let's get this finished and we can eat then watch movies." He told her. She sighed deeply again and nodded. Getting back to work.
(I'm imagining my fav horror movie reactor Zzzavid as David.)
