Are we creating our own discontent by failing to meet the standards we've set for ourselves?
Life can feel like a monotonous bus ride, departing from one terminal and arriving at another, with nothing noteworthy happening along the way. Sometimes, it seems like a plain story, gradually unfolding towards its end—just an ordinary narrative among countless others. It isn't exceptional, woeful, dramatic, or sweet. Yet, in moments like this, we find the potential for development, a spark, or a new beginning. But in the end, you may feel like just another plain story, like so many others.
Yet, in moments like this, we often expect a spark in life. However, life can simply be as plain as others, devoid of any need for embellishment. It unfolds without grand events or dramatic shifts. We exist in our ordinary rhythms, —unadorned and straightforward. In the end, your life is just as plain as anyone else’s, lacking the extraordinary moments we often seek.
