—————————————————————The triplets were packed into the backseat of their mom's car. Chris, the most energetic of the three, couldn't sit still, his eyes sparkling with anticipation. He kept bouncing his leg in his seat, occasionally nudging Matt and pointing out random sights along the road. Nick, on the other hand, was dozing off, his head resting against the window, his soft snores barely audible over the hum of the engine. Matt was somewhere in between, not as hyper as Chris but far from asleep, his gaze fixed on the passing scenery which was like a painting; the sky was changing from red to orange as the sun rised.

Mary Lou glanced at her sons through the rearview mirror, a fond smile on her lips. She decided to start a conversation to keep the two awake boys engaged. "So, boys, what are you most excited about for the cruise?" she asked, her voice warm and inviting.

Chris immediately perked up, his face lighting up with excitement. "I can't wait to see the deep ocean! And the slides on the ship at the pool area! And all the food!" he exclaimed, his words tumbling out in a rush.

Matt chuckled softly, shaking his head at his brother's enthusiasm. "I'm looking forward to just relaxing and maybe exploring the ship a bit," he said, his tone more measured but still excited.

Mary Lou nodded, her smile widening. "That sounds great. And what about you, Nick?" she asked, glancing at her sleepy son.

Nick stirred slightly, opening one eye to look at his mom. "Mmm... just looking forward to sleeping," he mumbled, a sleepy grin spreading across his face before he drifted back off.

Mary-Lou laughed softly, her heart swelling with affection for her boys. "Well, it sounds like you're all going to have a great time," she said warmly.

The rest of the ride was quiet, except for Nick's soft snores filling the car. Eventually, Mary-Lou pulled into the port where the cruise ship was docked. The massive ship loomed ahead, its size and grandeur making Chris's excitement bubble over again.

"Nick, wake up...Nicky, come on...We're here!" Chris said, shaking his brother gently.

Nick groaned and rubbed his eyes, slowly waking up. "Already?" he mumbled, still half-asleep.

"Yep, time to get moving," Matt said, already unbuckling his seatbelt and grabbing his smaller bag.

The boys helped each other with their luggage, making sure they had everything they needed. Mary-Lou watched them with a mix of pride and a touch of sadness, knowing she'd miss them while they were away.

"Alright, boys, have a great time and take care of each other," she said, giving each of them a hug. "Call me if you need me."

"We will, Mom," Chris said, grinning. "Thanks for driving us."

With their bags in tow, the triplets made their way to the check-in area. After a quick and smooth process, they were ready to board the ship. Mary-Lou waved goodbye, her heart full as she watched her sons walk towards their adventure.

The triplets walked towards the ship, their eyes widening as they took in the sheer size of it. The ship was massive, with countless decks and amenities visible even from the dock.

"Wow, this ship is huge!" Chris exclaimed, his excitement bubbling over again.

"Yeah, it's like a floating city," Matt added, equally impressed.

Chris smirked and said, "I bet they even have a mall in there. Maybe you can finally buy some fashion sense, Nick."

Nick rolled his eyes but couldn't help laughing. "Very funny, Chris. Maybe you can find a sense of humor while you're at it."
