TWO FACES

"Kim, I'm on vacation," Ron complained about the new mission assigned to him by his best friend's mother.

"Ron, you've been on vacation your whole life," Kim argued.

(I've been taking a beating since last week,) Ron thought to himself.

"Get up and come with me," Kim ordered firmly.

"No, no, no and no," Ron refused flatly.

"Large size," Kim tempted him, and Ron couldn't resist.

The two friends headed to the Middleton Space Center. Ron always wondered why there was a space center in a small town like this.

"Ron, are you okay?" Kim asked, noticing her friend was distracted.

"Um, yeah. Hey, don't you ever wonder why there's a space centre in Middleton?" Ron inquired.

"Ron, stop asking questions and hurry up," Kim replied as she pulled him toward the space center.

Upon arrival, they walked in as if nothing had happened; everyone knew Kim, but unfortunately Ron too, although not for the best of reasons.

"In my defense, nobody told me that the Red Buttons were for launching a rocket."

They were there to bring food to Kim's father, James Possible, known as Mr. P (the only one who called him that was Ron). At the space center, they met , a boy in a wheelchair, very technological thanks to his mother, who was James' partner.

"Back, back you metal beast." Ron tried to keep away what looked like large spider legs around him.

"Ron, relax, he's just Dr. Renton's son." James intervened upon seeing Ron's reaction.

Ron, with a face like a tomato, kept smiling and with an uncomfortable laugh and lowered the chair with which he was protecting himself.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Felix, John Connor," Felix joked and offered his hand in a friendly manner.

"I like the name but my name is Unstoppable Ron." I accept the greeting and shake Felix's hand.

Kim approached them both with a smile. "I'm Kim Possible, nice to meet you Felix." Felix shook Kim's hand.

Ron stood there thinking for a moment, "Kim have you seen Rufus?" Ron questioned Kim.

"I wasn't with you?" Kim raised her eyebrow at Ron's question.

"No." They both looked at each other for a moment and then looked around.

"Excuse me for asking, who is Rufus?" Felix asked, puzzled.

"My shaved mouse and why is he on that rocket?" Ron said before finishing his explanation he saw how Rufus got on a reduced-size prototype.

"Rufus noo!" Ron shouted, running to Rufus.

The rocket took off at full speed and began hitting all the walls, and just before it crashed into a wall Felix stopped it with robotic hands.

And saved Rufus from some pretty severe damage.

Ron picked up Rufus and put him in his pocket. "Thanks a lot Felix, let me buy you a naco, I told you I invented it?" Ron hugged Felix and they both headed for the exit.

"I'll catch up with you later," Kim shouted as she watched her friend retreat with Felix.

"Sure, Kim. See you later," Ron replied, as he walked away with Felix.

"So how does that high-tech chair work?" Ron asked, curious.

"My mother is a genius engineer," Felix explained. "She designed this chair to help me move around and do things that other kids can do."
