"Kim, why do we have to do this?" Ron complained as he leaned against the hospital counter.
"One, because it's the right thing to do. Two, we get a grade, and Ron, believe me, you need it." Kim smirked at the blonde.
Ron raised a finger, wanting to answer, but simply remained silent.
A nurse approached Kim and Ron. "Hi, Kim. We're short-staffed in the nursing department and I wanted to see if you could help out."
"Sure." Kim smiled accepting her new job.
"Well then, little suns, listen up. There's a sick old man who needs happiness; he's already sent three Suns home crying."
Ron raised his hand excitedly. "That sounds like a job for Ron-man." He pointed at himself egotistically.
"I don't know, Ron, he seems like a tough guy. Are you sure you could handle this?" Kim raised an eyebrow in intrigue.
"Come on, Kim, I beat supervillains once a week," Ron smirked.
"You win?" Kim crossed her arms, judging Ron.
"You know what I mean, Kim," Ron shook his hands trying to correct himself.
"Running around yelling 'Kim!' isn't stopping the bad guys."
"I'm the sidekick, Kim, not the hero. I'm more comic relief," Ron twirled his hand in an imitation of Shakespeare.
"Whatever you say, Ron." Kim walked away from him, heading towards the infirmary area.
"So where do I go?" Ron wondered.
After his little argument with Kim, he left the hospital heading to the old man's mansion. Upon arriving, Ron tried to knock on the door. "HELLO, MR. NORTH!"
Getting no response, he tried again. "HI, GOOD! I'M RON, I'M HERE TO HELP YOU." Still no response. "DON'T YOU WANT HAPPINESS?" Realizing there was no response, he simply decided to leave. "Conceited old man, one who comes to help and doesn't have the decency to look you in the face."
"Take your happiness, you idiot," a voice startled Ron, who turned around without seeing anyone. He was surprised.
"Hello!?" Ron asked in a scared voice.
"Get out, kid," the same voice called Ron's attention again.
"I'm here to help, my name is Ron Stoppable."
"Ron Stoppable? Sounds pathetic. Get out."
"Unstoppable. And I can do... erm, anything. Yeah, exactly: anything." Ron smiled. A few seconds later, the door opened and the voice boomed once more: "Come in."
.
Kim Possible left the hospital, exhausted after a long day of helping nurse and saving the day. When she arrived home, she headed straight for the front door, opening it with a sigh of relief.
As he entered, he took off his shoes and dropped his backpack on the floor. He stretched, feeling the fatigue in his muscles, and headed towards the kitchen.
"Hey, Mom!" Kim called out, knowing her mother, Ann Possible, would probably be making dinner.
Her mother answered from the kitchen, "Hi, Kim! How was your day?"
Kim sat at the kitchen counter, while her mother made her a glass of fruit juice. "It was long," Kim replied, "but I managed to help out at the hospital."
Ann Possible smiled. "I'm glad to hear that. What's for dinner?"
Kim looked into the kitchen and saw that her mother had prepared her favorite dish: grilled chicken with mashed potatoes.
