Colby's POV

I'm laying on my bed thinking about a prank to pull on the roommates when I come up with the perfect plan. Sam and I could fake date! perfect! I rush to Sam's room and knock. "come in Colby!" Sam says an I open the door. "how did you know it was me?" I ask. "your rings. I can hear them when you knock." he says turning around and smiling at me. his smile is so cute- wait I can't think that he has a girlfriend and he's straight! "okay Sam I thought of the perfect prank to pull on the roommates!" I say sitting down onto his bed. "okay go on?" he says shutting his laptop an sitting down next to me. "we should date!" I say and he looks surprised, "wait! I meant fake date like to see their reactions..." I say. "oh okay how would we pull that off?" he asks. "well I was planning that we should start by doing things like flirting being really touchy and stuff like that. and then when all the roommates leave we could set it up so it looks like w-we were going t-to uhm y-yeah." I say stuttering. "mm okay," he says "well we could start the prank now." he says. "o-okay. so I was thinking that I could uhm s-sleep in your bed so when jake comes into my room in the morning to get me up he wouldnt see me in there, come to wake you up and see us c-cuddling." I say rubbing my neck.

why am I nervous I'm not into guys... right?

"okay!" sam says cheerfully resting his head onto my shoulder.

Sam's POV

"okay!" I say after Colby explains the plan. I start to rest my head on his shoulder to try to hide the fact I'm blushing, and I feel him stiffen up. "you okay Colby?" I ask. "yeah just t-tired." he says and I giggle. "what?" he asks. "nothing, nothing." I say. "okay." he says. "well we should probably get started with the prank an film the intro." I say and he nods. we film the intro and start to set up the first prank. "should one of us take our shirt off? t-to make it more believable." I say getting flustered. "I can." he says. an takes off his shirt in one quick movement. god he's hot, wait I cant be thinking this he's straight. I knew from a very young age that I was gay. yes I have a 'girlfriend' but Kat isn't really my girlfriend she is my friend. she's also the first person I came out to. so me and her are 'dating' just until Im ready to come out to everyone. "take a picture it'll last longer." Colby says. shit I'm staring at his abs. "shit sorry." I say. "it's fine but let's go to sleep so Jake wakes us up in the morning." he says and I try to calm down my blushing. "o-okay." I say and we lay down. he pulls me into a cuddle and my face starts to heat up for a moment, then I relax into this sort of warmth I've never felt before and fall asleep in Colby's arms.
