When I woke up, Hermione and Olivia were already up, got dressed and rushed around to grab their things.

"Morning" I mumbled and rubbed my eyes sleepily. "Morning!" Hermione beamed at me and Olivia waved slighlty. "Today's going to be interesting and very productive I hope. We've got Transfiguration, Defence Against The Dark Arts and Potions, but I have some essays and assignments due to next week that I have to work on. And - oh! - It's your first day participating in all the lessons, I bet it's going to be so interesting for you! I can show you around if you like." Hermione spoke very quickly but suddendly stopped when she saw my sceptical expression. "You're not a morning person right?" She looked at me apogetically. "Hmhm." I yawned and stood up.

"Actually, I'm not that big of a sleepyhead, but the past two days have been exhausting and every hour of sleep doesn't feel enough." I shrugged.

After I got dressed, Olivia, Hermione and I went down into the common room, where Harry and Ron waited for Hermione and me. Olivia bid us goodbye, we would see her later in Potions,

"Where are the twins and Lee?" I asked them after we made our way into the Great Hall.

"I dunno. I think they went up earlier to plan something ridiculous." Ron rolled his eyes. "They're always in for something. And you never know if your their next victim, or how they call it, their next chosen one." he looked around cautiously.

I chuckled and looked to Harry, who will hear the word chosen one soon enough in slightly different situations.

We sat down, but the twins weren't there. I frowned and started to think were they could have been when we suddendly heard a lout rumour outside the Great Hall. We looked just in time when Fred and George ran into the Great Hall and went flying towards us. "You filthy readheads! Wait, till I'll get you one day. You'll reveal yourselves faster than you can think and then you'll be hanging from the ceiling upside down!" Filch screamed and ran past the entrance of the great hall and looked around searching for the boys.

We looked at them with raised eyebrows when they were skiddering and stopped in front of us, completely out of breath.

"What did you guys do again?" Hermione asked rolling her eyes.

"Well-" George started while taking deep breaths,

"We wanted to sweeten Filch's day-" Fred continued breathing heavily as well,

"By giving him sweets with nose-growing-effect!" George beamed at us. "Own invention!" they both said in unison.

"Unfortunately he gave them to Mrs. Norris first so her nose grew as big as her body"

"He saw us three in the hallway and while Lee managed to hide into the cupboard we had to run for our dear lives, but fortunately he didn't catch us." Fred fell down on the bench and reached for eggs and toast while George sat down as well looking extremely satisfied.

We giggled and continued our breakfast while listening to the explanation of Fred's and George's newest inventions.

"The most important thing about Transfiguration, my dear ladies and gentelmen, is concentration and creativity. Without these two components, you'll never be able to transfigure objects, animals or even yourself into something different."

Professor McGonagall looked at us and wandered through the aisle between the desks.

"Today is about learning how to transfigure oneself into another animal, it's called an Animagus. Other than a Metamorphmagus, everyone in this classroom can turn him or herself into his or her own Animagus with enough practice. While today is all about the preparations of becoming an Animagus, you have to study and practice youself, even outside lesson times, so you'll become an Animagus."
