A'ja Pov

I had quite the weekend at all star. Most definitely feeling like "boy we had a time last nighttt!". We didn't get back home on the last day until like 2 in the morning. Me and y/n most definitely slept in the day after because we were quite literally drained. The Olympics were just a few days away and I had already started my heavy packing just so I would be prepared ahead of time. Twitter has been in a total uproar when the both USA's men and women's teams roasters were announced. Not mostly because of someone who didn't deserve a roster spot or who did.

But because me, Y/n, and Bam would all be in the same vicinity. I already talked with Y/n about it and she promised me that she would be civil if we were all in the same place at one time. I truly do hope that she is going to be chill because if she does anything that could effect my place in Paris i'm whooping both of their asses. I don't believe that we would have any issues though because Bam has been a little quiet, but you never know with him.

As I was putting some of my clothes into my bag I felt strong muscular arms wrap themselves around my waist. "Hi mama" she said peppering kisses on my neck making me blush. "Hi my love" I said softly as I continued packing my third suitcase. My task was stopped though when she spun me around so I could be facing her. "I missed you" she said connecting our lips into a soft loving kiss. "Mmm I missed you more" I hummed out pecking her lips a few more times in return. "Have you started packing your bags?" I asked as I played with the hair on the back of her neck.

"I already had my bags packed like 2 days ago" she said lowly caressing my sides that were exposed from my crop top. "How many bags you packed?" I asked her raising my eyebrows because she is known for under packing. I can't even count how many times i've had to pack her bags like shes a toddler because she couldn't do it herself. "Like 2, and yes I have enough clothes to last me at most 3 weeks" she said mocking my voice. I rolled my eyes as a playful smile slowly arose onto my lips. 

"I do not sound like that" I said giggling, "yes you do baby" she said joining in on my laughter. "Mmtch whatever, I gotta finish packing though so i'ma need you to unhand me now" I said with a fake smile. "I'll leave you be then, i'm about to go pick up some food anyways" she said dropping her arms from around my waist. "Ok just get me whatever I don't really mind" I said shrugging. "Ight fasho I got you, i'll be back in a little bit ma I love you" she said placing one last kiss on my lips. "I love you too baby" I said turning back around to packing my bag. "That ass sitting up though babygirl" she said slapping my ass before sprinting out of the room. "Y/N Y/LN!" I shouted earning a belly laugh from her as she closed the front door.

(Time Skip)

Both the men and women's teams were waiting in the lobby of the hotel for our buses to arrive. Today was media day for all countries before all the Olympic games commenced. "Yo A'ja!" I heard a deep voice call out to me prompting me to turn around and see who the voice came from. My face was scrunched up as I looked around the room trying to figure out who it was until my eyes landed on Lebron causing a friendly smile to form in replace for my frown. "Wassup sis?" he asked pulling me into a quick side hug. "Oh hey bron" I said reciprocating the hug. 

"Where's the wifey at?" he asked in reference to my fiance. "She's over there with Jayson and AD" I said pointing over in their direction. "I'ma have to go holler at her in a little bit then. What's going on with you and Bam though not to try and be messy or none" he said making me laugh at him. "You is trying to be messy, but nothing going on between me and him he just thirsty as hell over me" I said shrugging keeping it short. It's true though because I haven't said one word to him directly unless he tried to come up to me and talk.

"The way he been telling it to me, he's tryna make it seem like your the thirsty one" he said laughing from my unimpressed face. There's no way this nigga has gone around telling people i'm thirsty OVER HIM. I be damned if I would ever be thirsty over his weirdo ass. "Bron... I know you fuckin lying" I said with a straight face. "I promise you A. He said your the one who tries to talk to him behind closed doors, but put up this face of I love my fiance only on social media" he said making me shake my head. 

"Why would I ever put up a front about being in love with my FIANCE?" I said putting emphasis on the last part. "I don't know sis that's just what I was told" he said shrugging. "I'ma go catch up with y/nn though i'll catch you around A" he said giving me a quick hug before walking over towards the trio. I exhaled deeply because I just want to play ball and enjoy my time here in Paris. But nooo somehow the 'drama' with Bam is still following me. 

Y/n Pov

"Man what I postered his ass like sticker man" JT said making me and AD die laughing from his story he was telling us. "What's going on my black brother's and sisters" Bron said joining in on our conversation dapping each of us up. "What's going on with you man? Mr. scoring leader" I said in a playful tone. "Man nothing been going on with me, just been chilling with my family for the most part" he said. "He's a good man savannah" AD said in a white women's voice making me laugh loudly. "Such a sweet boy" JT said adding onto the joke. 

"Hey what can I say i'm just a innocent family man" he said smiling making me side eye him. "Now let's be real Bron you've been quite acquainted with the dog house" I said leaving him with no words. "Damnnn bro I fear she clocked you with that one" AD said laughing to himself. "Don't do to much on me, cause last I heard your girl be having to check you for arguing with a nigga through Twitter" he said leaving me as the one who was now speechless. "Fuck that nigga man" I said rolling my eyes from the thought of him. 

"What's even going on with you and Bam cause last thing I seen was him talking mad reckless and you and A'ja posting some pictures in response" Jayson asked. "Nothing going on with me a him, he just talking shit about me and disrespecting me and A'ja's relationship. And ya'll already know I tolerate no disrespect when  it come's to her so I just had to set his ass straight for a second. All I know is he better keep it cool these 2 weeks because I just want my girl to enjoy her time here" I finished as they all nodded agreeing with me. 

"Yeah I feel you on that cause if someone disrespected Ella the way he is I would've probably been in jail by now" Jayson said. "Oh yeah congratulations to ya'll by the way I forgot to text you" I said congratulating him on their pregnancy. They haven't officially announced it but she's already been spotted pregnant so there really wasn't a point in announcing it anyways. "Preciate it man" he said dapping me up. 

"Everyone the buses are now ready to be loaded up!" someone shouted cutting into our conversation. "I'll see ya'll later then on that note" I said walking away from the group and going to find A'ja. I was looking for her for a while until I seen her talking with Jackie and Kahlea. "What's up ya'll" I said politely greeting the other to women. "Hey y/nn" they said waving at me in return. "You ready to go baby?" I whispered into A'ja's ear. She nodded her head in response saying her goodbye's to the two darkskin girls before taking my hand and walking away. 

We found our seats on the bus and got settled in waiting for everyone else to get onto their buses. I looked over to A and seen her zoning out lost in thought. "What's going on in that pretty head of yours?" I asked her tapping my finger against the side of her head. "Nothing..." she said trying to brush me off. I grabbed her hand interlocking her fingers with mine. "What's wrong baby talk to me" I said softly turning her head to face me. "I just want to be relaxed and focused on winning a medal, but yet all i'm being asked about is the whole Bam situation. I wanted to forget about all of that now but now I can't because it's all everyone asks me about" she said opening up.

My eyes softened from her distressed state. I rubbed the pad of my finger across her hand trying to calm her down. "I know baby trust me i've been asked a lot to. But just tune all of them out if someone asks you just don't answer. I don't want you stressing about this whole situation, like you said were here for you so lets just focus on you and your well-being and no one else's alright?" I said trying to  motivate her. She nodded her head slowly, "I love you ok and i'm going to make sure that we keep these 2 weeks dedicated to you with no other distractions" I said making a small grin to find its way onto her lips. 

"Theres the pretty smile I love to see" I said making her roll her eyes playfully annoyed at me. "I love you so much" she said connecting our lips into a soft kiss. "I love you more baby, now just relax and lock in you know I got your back" I said placing a kiss on her temple as she relaxed into her seat resting her head on my shoulder. 

(A/N) Quick little update because this election has be anxious and I don't know how to feel so yeah...
