"I can see you~ from behind..."
A sweet yet haunting voice spoke from within the deepening fog.
Anvir swiftly stepped back falling on a dead thorn which cut deeply into her leg tearing away as the cloth of her pant leg as she quickly got up running in the opposite direction of the fog the sweet little haunting voice spoke in her ears all around her.
"You can hear me...in your mind, Run so fast as you can go~"
Anvir waved her hands wildly around her head shooking the ghostly fog from clouding her she turned seeing a painfully familiar little girl, a familiar little frozen sister standing among the decay of plants and trees frost glittering the rotting leaves beneath her feet a small wicked grin appeared on the girls face.
"Time will catch you before you know~"
She said in a sing song voice as the frost spread towards Anvir just as the icy cold reached her she turned dashing through the decay skidding to a halt and turning away at each turn her dead and frozen younger sister appeared grinning at her, small white flakes floated down with a swift glance at the sky the snow became thicker Anvir dashed into the thick of dead thorns and trees freezing in place at the young girl standing on the water soulless black eyes gazing at Anvir and the haunting voice spoke through the icy air
"i'm coming closer...la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la"
The cold black water seemed to grow as the young girl skipped a few paces forward.
"I will catch you!~"
The dead girl giggled and stopped.
"the time it goes.. Tick tock, tick tock, tick...tock"
At each tick the dark endless water seemed to grow surrounding Anvir's feet becoming thick like glue unwilling to release her. Anvir panicked trying to pull her legs free, unaware of her sister standing before her with a soulless grin.
"i am you!~"
The girl giggled reaching to her sister with icy blue skin Anvir gave a great heave pulling her leg free losing a shoe in the process and dashing off blood pumping in her ears dulling her senses as the snow fell thicker and thicker the haunting sing song voice sang through the darkness.
"Are you afraid of the dark?"
The sing-song voice giggled, sending a cold rush down Anvir's spine.
"Are you scared?"
Her dead sister spoke now infront of her with eyes a deep and endless void.
"I am you!"
The girl giggled again watching as Anvir spun wildly around and fled each step becoming slower than the last in her blindness of the black fog and unending snow her breath coming in short puffs as she pushed her way through till she found herself knee deep in swirling black icy water too thick to swim in as it began to pull her deeper in the ghostly sister appeared in front of her with a wicked grin cocking her head to the side.
"I am you!"
The black water swirled around rising in a ring around the two before it came crashing down passing through the dead girl and cascading down on Anvir she wiggled wildly trying to crawl her way to the surface and failed sinking deeper and deeper into the endless void with nothing in sight.
