Chapter 5 - Do you hear it?

I finished reading the book cucurucho had given you. A mission huh? Why would he need you to bring all these materials to some random coordinates in the middle of who the fuck knows where? You're looking at me expectantly.

"Can you say no?"

You shake your head.

"Why would he ask you to do this stuff?"

I mutter under my breath closing the book and giving it back to you as I sit up.

You just shrug.

"Why did that fucking guy have to leave when I came over huh? Does he have a fucking problem with me?"

"I don't think it's that they don't like you. They're just a hard nut to crack you just have to warm them up a bit!"

"I'll warm him up plenty when I stick my foot up it's ass-"

"Hey! Cmon he's just a silly guy!"

"A silly guy that needs loads of building materials and lots of water and lava?? To be taken to the middle of nowhere?"

"Maybe they need them for a projects they're working on?"

I sigh. I don't like this at all I've put up with that thing coming over because you've asked me to but this in general doesn't sit right with me. I've lost everything but you to the federation and now suddenly the guy running the place takes interest in you? Why don't you think it's as suspicious as I do?

"I'm coming with you."

"Yeah! That's fine I don't think cucurucho minds!"

"I'm going with you whether that fucking thing wanted me to or not."

It takes a while to get the materials needed. It takes us even longer to start heading towards the location the coordinates. The whole journey there I can't help but feel like we're being watched. You don't seem to be giving any signs you're feeling the same however. So I'm not worried. Once we reach the destination it's obvious it's a dungeon of sorts?

"¿Por qué aquí?"

You seem to be asking yourself more than me. Your eyes flicking to the book in your hands that contained the coordinates and the dungeon before us.

"And that fucker wanted you to do this alone?"

"How hard can it be?"

You look at me, the dungeon then the book again like you're thinking you somehow got the coordinates wrong. I think you're just worried.

But then we hear undoubtedly feet crunching in the snow behind us and some hushed bickering as we turn towards the noise.

It happens too quickly for me to process several peoples invisibility potions wearing off as my spider sense gives me the warning that people are here. What a joke. It doesn't surprise me that the people that somehow found us are BBH, Foolish, and Baghera. Who are all looking at me weird. I frown.
