"No mom, I'm good!", I yelled. Mom's in the kitchen and just asked me if I needed anything to eat. I am in my room, laying on my bed and thinking about... well, nothing.
Tomorrow is the first day of senior year which is going to start the same way all schooldays do, Lisa and Susan pick me up in Susan's old red truck. The three of us have been best friends since middle school and go to the same high school, St. Stevens High School. Luckily, I am not picked upon by the popular people of our school that much. According to me, I am sweet and simple. I'm never rude to anybody... okay, mostly! Umm...I think i'm forgetting something...yeah! Hi, my name is Selena Miller. I am neither filthy rich nor poor. I'm just normal.
Well, there are some good things about me - I always get A's in my tests, I'm fashionable and the head of the drama club. Currently, I'm looking forward to writing and directing the play for the Prom. It would be held before the announcing of the Prom King and Queen. Right now, there aren't much members in the club. The jocks hate drama club, the popular girls are cheerleaders and the nerds are just so shy and into their books that they don't even communicate to people unless they are also nerds. Our school, is hopeless! Well actually, every high school is like this...
