Once Upon A Time In High School : Chapter - 6

Susan and I started the car and we were ready to go...

I turned the car left towards the school. Mean while Susan turned on the music. Heart Attack was playing so I got all excited. Its one of my and Susan's favourite songs. We started singing the song to the top of our lungs! We both know that we both are not good at singing(at least we think so), but right then, all that mattered was having fun! Rest of the ride we just sung to other songs.

When we reached school, our throat was dead! I mean when I spoke something to Susan, my voice was all rough and crude. So I decided to drink some water and Susan did the same. This made our throat better till some extend.

Now we stepped out of the car. I straightened all the wrinkles in my dress and then i was ready. When I looked up, everyone, and I mean EVERYONE in the parking lot was looking at me and Susan! At first I got confused but then I realised that at what everyone was staring. Right then I looked at Susan and I could tell that she was also thinking what I was thinking.

We gave a last proud glance to each other and then we started walking, high and proud. It felt as if everything was in slow motion. It just felt as if we were on the red carpet and all the people in the parking lot were the photographers.

Just a few steps away from the entrance to the school, all the cheer leaders were gathered but they weren't having their daily dose of gossip. Instead, they were all stairing at us with their mouth wide open. This was just a sight to see! I mean even the queen-bee of our school, Giselle Martinez, was standing their like a statue as if someone had just spitted on her new prada dress.

Ignoring her, I just went inside the school where I found Lisa and a very good friend of mine, Grace White was waiting for me and Susan. Seeing Grace, I quickly went to her and gave her a big hug. She had gone for a vacation over the holidays but she just loved the place so much that she extended her stay. That's why she got late and joined school almost a week later.

Grace is one of those people who is always there for me. She is my friend since 2nd grade. She is a little tomboy-ish. Not that she is one. I mean she is totally opposite of me. I like to shop, she hates it. I like pink, she likes black(by the way I also like black, but I am just trying to prove my point). I like Harry Styles, she likes Harry Potter. You get it right? I am just trying to say that she is nothing like me but still we get along really well.

Fortunately, we all have the same home room. So first we all went to our lockers and decided to meet in home room. This is the time when all of us could go and meet our boyfriends, but none of us has one!

Suddenly there was a beep on my phone. I took it out of my cluth and looked at it. I had recieved a message from my mother.

Honey, I have to leave urgently for some business matter. I wouldn't be home until this weekend. You can either stay at home with David or you can go to stay at one of your friend's place. - Love, Linda

Oh my god. My mom is the only person left on the planet who still messages like this. Anyways. Okay, so now should I stay home with my brother who will obviously call one of his crazy friends home, or even two. Obviously I don't want to spend so many nights with crazy college boys, so I will either stay at Lisa's or Susan's or Grace's place. I will ask them after home room.

When I reached home room, Susan and Grace were already there but Lisa was missing. She would probably talking to Zac right now. I went to my usual seat, next to Susan. But today Grace was also sitting next to me, that is my right. So obviously Susan was sitting on my left. Wait, what am I talking about?
