In an arena there stood a boy who had black hair and his eyes were not one of a normal human being and a girl with white hair and golden eyes. Many demons were watching, waiting for the winner. But why were they fighting?

"It's finally time for you to pay for killing my parents."

There are all kinds of creatures in this world, from slimes to dragons. They are all incredibly unique, yet they share a common thread - a magical drive, or as some may call it, an element. A magical drive is formed with its host, existing within its very soul. A creature can access its soul by meditating. its soul will coordinate with the drive's key elements.

To help you understand, a creature with a fire element soul will be surrounded by flames with fire dancing around him. Someone with a water drive will be underwater with fish swimming around him. I think you get the idea.

This world has four continents. The dragon continent big and mighty. The demon continent is feard and exciting for some humans with specific desires. The human continent small and weak. The fourth is unknown.

Meanwhile, humans were able to become one of the three dominant species they don't compare to the other two. They are seen as a vessel continent and slave reserve for the dragons. The top ten families that provide the dragons with the strongest and most intelligent slaves are known as Servus Familias. But what happens if a child is born into one of these families without any drive? It seems absurd, as even the weakest monster has one. And even if there is, how could someone survive such a situation? Boy, do I have a story to tell you.

In a forest, there was a small boy with black hair that matched the void in space and some greyish-green eyes. He held a small sword in his hand, and in front of him was a badly damaged slime. As the boy was about to deliver the final blow, someone called out to him.

'Max Rose, what did I tell you about going into the forest without me to protect you!'

It was a maid and an angry one at that. As the boy heard her, he stopped his attack, and the slime ran away.

You're probably wondering, "What does Max being a boy have to do with anything?" Well, every boy born in the Rose family has been weak - very weak, even weaker than an average person.
