IMRAN'S POV
I stood leaning against my car. It was parked right at front of Ibteey's apartment. We were just talking on the phone and she told me she was going shopping. I offfered to take her but she rejected at first. I pleaded with her and then she agreed.
And now I ended waiting for her to show up.
Actually, a lot has changed for the past few months. I and Ibteey,.... I cant explain. The girl is amazing. Eventhough I know she's a bit bubbly in the inside, she acts really cool with me. I dont know.... She's everywhere....
In my car....at school...in my bowl of noodles....in my closet... I just cant get her off my stupid mind.
If I miss her today, I call her up...and after the phone call, I miss her even more.
Damn!
Kamal was right.
"Someone is gonna change you someday dude. You're gonna loose your senses just like how I lost mine" He had said.
Is that guy some sort of..... I dont know. Am beginning to loose my mind here. God!!!
"Penny for your thoughts?" I heard the sweetest voice on earth. I looked up at her. She was smilling, her peach scarf pulled tightly around her hair. It matched her hazel eyes.
"Think we should get going!" I finally said opening the door gor her. She smiled again and hopped inside. I closed the door gently and walked around to get to the other side of the car. I entered and turned on the ignition.
"So....where am I taking you again?" I questioned as soon as I stepped on the gas.
"Do you have some sort of Amnesia?" she asked, her eyes laughing at me.
Well....i was diagnosed with it after I met you.....
"I'm sorry for forgetting so easily buh can you just remind me what we're doing in my car?" I teased
She bit her lip so stop herself from smilling.
"I guess we're flying to pluto!" She finally spoke, amusement in her voice. She looked at me and we burst out laughing.
We talked all the way to the mall. I parked my car at the spacious parking space and followed her in.
Just look at me, in the company of a girl while she is shopping. This is ridiculous. I'll never do this to any girl.
But she's making me do it.
"Nice color?" she questioned raising up a biege gown.
"Perfecto!" I said giving her the thumbs up.
She smiled and then gathered up the clothes she has chosen and got into the dressing room.
A while later, she was out wearing a pink tank top and black jeans, her hair was high up in a messing bun. She looks so damn beautiful. She looked at her reflection in the full lenght mirror then our eyes met. She realised I was staring goofily at her. She raised an eyebrow, frowning a little. I gave her another thumbs up and her face brightened.
She changed into several clothing. They all looked superb on her. She's just sooo....
She finished up and the drama started when I said I was gonna pay. I passed my credit card but she snatched it from the caahiers hand and passed hers. I snatched hers and passed mine. We did that for five to six times. The man got pissed and collected both credit cards, extracting half the money from both. He handed us the shopping bags with a grumpy face. Ibteey was also fuming.
Now what did I do?
She was silent all through the ride.
"I'm sorry!" I blurted.
She was silent,looking straight ahead, hear chin on her hands as her hand rested on the door.
Her silence was killing me.
" C'mon Ibteey!" I said again
Silence
"I'll make you noodle soup...I swear I can cook it better than Chef G Garvin!" I stated.
The corner of her lips was twitching
Yaaassssss!!!!!
This is a good time to punch the air. Lol!
"Hey its okay! Just dont pay for my shopoing next time. I feel so cheap when someone does that!" She said with a small smile.
"Okay! Thank You!" I said grinning like a fool" Promise not to do it again!"
"But you have to cook that noodle soup for me.....wait how do you know its my favourite?" She questioned.
Well......
I scratched the back of my neck. This is not good. I looked at her and flashed my teeth. She was dumbfounded. Then her smile dissappeared.
I am so doomed.
