We returned to the house in 13 minutes, pulling into the driveway to mark the end of our travels for the day. I turned off the truck, taking the keys out of the ignition. I looked at Mangle and Roxanne for a moment before I stepped out of the truck. It didn't take long for the both of them to follow after me.

"I'm so glad to be done sitting on your lap, Roxy," Mangle said, her voice embarrassed but also relieved.

"Me too," Roxanne said, her tone similar to Mangle's. "Let's never speak of this to anybody."

"Agreed," Mangle said without hesitation. I didn't say anything. I just began walking over to the front door.

As I approached the front door, I thought about everything I had just learned. It shouldn't have surprised me at all due to what has been happening for the past few days and what happened a few months ago, but it still felt like a punch to the gut.

To think that my sister, Lisa, who had been missing for over 10 years was in the body of Glamrock Mangle, an animatronic mascot my former girlfriend regarded as a sister. I couldn't help but find the bitter irony in that. In a way, they both returned to us but not in the way we expected.

A wave of emotions washed over me at the revelation.

Angry that this has been hidden for such a long time. I could only imagine that Kyle had known about this, but he didn't want to tell me about it. Probably because of how I would've taken it.

Happy that my sister was alive, to a certain degree. It may not be the way I hoped, but at least she is with us now.

Confused as to how this could've been possible. I tried to think of anything that could explain this but nothing came up. Nothing made sense to me. If she had died, Lisa would have remained dead. The dead remain dead. They don't come back.

I thought about how my father would've reacted if he found out his little girl was possessing an animatronic. He might be surprised at the revelation. Maybe even happy. I had no idea as he was gone so it was impossible to determine the outcome.

I thought about how my mother would react to the whole thing. She might be surprised, but knowing her, she would be overjoyed to know that her little girl was back. Just not in the way she expected or even anticipated.

At the same time, I thought about all the things Cress had said to the brothers on the phone. To think that they had been stalking my mother around in order to find the right moment to get and kill her made my blood boil. Not only that, they had been working for Cress since he and William broke them out. Not only that, Cress had known Mangle was possessed by Lisa and sent her to stay at my house to make getting revenge on me easier for them.

Cowards. That was all they were. A bunch of cowards and petty piss babies couldn't handle the fact that they got put in their place by someone like me. I had dealt with people like them before, but if I had to choose, they were the worst ones that I had ever had to deal with. They were even more petty and pathetic than even those who had a brain and a sense to give up. One way or another, they were going down... the hard way.

I approached the front door, a wave of anticipation for what I was going to do hitting me like a tidal wave. I grabbed the handle and twisted the knob. I pushed the door open and stepped inside. Once I was inside, I took off my shoes and moved aside for both Mangle and Roxanne to step inside. I looked to see them coming. They stepped inside and shut the door.

"Mihael? Roxy? Mangle? Is that you?" called out my mother's voice. From the sounds of it, she was in the kitchen doing something. It was so nice to hear her voice.

"Yes, it's us," I called out.

"How was your outing?" my mother asked. I hesitated for a moment. I didn't think it was the right time to reveal what I found out. I was going to wait until dinner.
