Eshaan and I drove to the Singh Shekhawat headquarters after the puja to sign all of the papers. An unexplainable sensation crept in the pit of my stomach. As if something miserable is about to happen.

"Sign this document, Eshaan, and then pass it on to Ariyanna," Digvijay uncle instructed. His professional tone was harsh and aggressive towards Eshaan, but softened slightly when he took my name. Eshaan signed the documents and handed them to me.

"Before signing these papers, Uncle, I want to talk to Eshaan regarding our marriage. I have some concerns which I'm willing to discuss with him." Digvijay uncle nodded and exited the room.

"What are your concerns?" Eshaan spoke in his ever so professional tone.

"When I agree to marry you, I want all of the rights that a wife possesses. A wife would most certainly dislike her spouse giving her the cold shoulder.  And you have a propensity to disappear inside your bunker. I want you to give us a chance."

"Don't make me do these dumb things. I've already warned you several times. I can satisfy any of your needs. Materialistic, sexual, or all. But I am unable to reciprocate your sentiments." He said, staring into my eyes.

"Materialistic or sexual? Am I dreaming, or did you actually utter that?" He hummed and turned around. My heart sank.

"I knew you were a fucker. But you proved it. I didn't want anything from you; I simply wanted your presence in my life. I told you I liked you on my 18th birthday. But you outright rejected me, claiming I was a child. You departed the country, and I attempted to move on, but couldn't. You came back suddenly after 5 years and then also provoked me. I still did not intend to harm you since I knew I've always loved you, so how could I? I hoped that whatever transpired in Rajasthan was driven by feelings. Just a little feeling.

But no, Eshaan is determined in shielding his emotions. Or do you do this with everyone? Fuck and strike the deal. This is how you become CEO. I pity uncle and dada ji."
