Gloria stood under the night sky, basking in the moonlight. She had always done this whenever she was in her spirit form. She still wore her black hoodie that covered her head and hid her face. She did not need the publicity from the other creatures that lurked in the dark.

It was another reason why she had always appeared on the rooftop of this five story building instead of the front gate. She stood there, leaning against the parapet as she breathed in the cold night air. In front her, laid a blanket of building, trees, lamp posts and street. All lit up in many colors.

The building she stood housed a mysterious man he had come across when he had met a friend she knew back when. At least someone that looked like him.

This friend or lookalike did not physically look like her friend but rather his spiritual form did.

She had been in a coffee shop one after ordering coffee when she noticed him. He'd initially looked like a stranger but Gloria sense something familiar so she had looked at him with her magical eyes.

That's when she saw the blue man spirit that resided in him. She had stopped what she was doing and approached him.

“Hey.” She had said with excitement but the man looked back at her, like the stranger she was.
“Hey.” he had replied back with a polite smile. Though they looked different the butterfly smile had remained through time.

Gloria smiled back and got ready to sit in the chair in front him but had been stopped her track when she noticed the spiritual form of the friend that sat next to him.

It did not look like any of the forms she had come to know. His spirit looked like a mixture of so many forms. It looked broken.

Gloria had smiled politely when she noticed the man in afro had seen her stare. She made an excuse about T shirts and rubber bands and walked away. Forgetting to go back for the coffee that she had already paid for.

She had later spied on them and found out that they were friends. The guy that looked like her friend was called Tory while the Afro guy was called Michael. That was 2 years ago. She also found that there was a third musketeer named Maurice.

But something that bothered Gloria was Michael's spirit form. She couldn't shake it. Was it a hiding mechanism? She had thought as she geared up to spy on Michael one night. It was best to check it at night as it would be harder for Michael to hide his true spiritual form in his sleep, relaxed state.

Gloria had appear at his apartment door around 11pm that night. She did some incantations to avoid any mines. When all was safe, she passed through the brown door and appeared in his living room, shining as the blue figure that she was. She made her way for his bedroom and found him in bed, asleep.

Gloria moved in a little closer to study his spirit form. Unlike hers, his spirit looked of many colors; brown, red, yellow, indigo. You name it.

Still curious, Gloria stayed a bit longer hoping his true form would revealed deep in the night. And that's when it happened.

The spiritual form that looked of many color started become one color. A color, she knew so well. A color, she despised. Green.

Ironically most people loved the color green but in the supernatural world, that was the spiritual color of a vampire.

Gloria smiled to herself. She knew he had to be a vampire. She prepared on what she had to do.

She couldn’t kill him in that state but she could paralyse him, giving her enough time to get into her body and come back to the apartment to finish the job. All she needed to do was give him the concoction  that will slowly kill him over the next six month.
