Exterior pov

YN stood in front of the mirror, her fingers tracing the sharp angles of her face. Her reflection seemed so foreign to her these days , too thin, too pale, too fragile , her eyes dark from sleepless nights and constant worry. She stared at her reflection for a long time.

Her stomach twisted in hunger.  Taking a deep breath, she grabbed her backpack , careful not to make sound . Her parents were long gone, and she was used to being alone. It wasn't as though they didn't care—it was just that they had their own lives, their own busy schedules

The walk to school was quiet, but cold really cold . She kept her head down, her gaze fixed on the sidewalk. No one looked at her anyway—not that it mattered.

When she arrived at school, she hoped for a day without any trouble. But it never worked that way. From the moment she stepped through the gates, she felt the weight of judgment on her shoulders. The whispers started almost immediately.

"Did you see YN today? She looks like a skeleton."

"Is she even eating? She's so...thin. It's kind of gross

YN's hands clenched around the straps of her backpack, her heart beating faster in her chest.

I mean It was just another normal day.

In class, YN sat at the back, away from the others. She pretended to focus on the lesson, but the murmurs around her never stopped

People in her class thought she was strange. She barely spoke, never hung out with anyone, and always had that sad, distant look in her eyes. They didn't know what it was like, what she was going through. To them, she was just the weird girl who didn't fit in.

At lunch, YN sat alone in the cafeteria behind some girls, picking at her salad. She couldn't remember the last time she actually ate something, not like a normal person.

She just moved the lettuce around on her tray, pretending to eat, hoping no one would notice.

But of course, they did. "YN, don't tell me you're still playing that game," a voice sneered from behind her. YN turned to see Maya , one of the meanest  girl ever, standing there with her friends, looking down at her with the usual sneer. "You're really that obsessed with being thin? It's pathetic."

she didn't respond. There was no point. Maya wasn't interested in hearing the truth. She just liked to pick on people who were easy targets.

"Whatever. I just hope you're not planning on passing out in class today," Maya said, and with a laugh, she walked away, her friends following suit.

YN was left staring at her half-eaten food, the weight of their words hanging in the air.

the school day was over, YN was exhausted physically, emotionally, and mentally. She couldn't wait to go home, lock herself in her room, and escape everything for a while.

But as she walked out of the school building, she caught sight of someone standing near the entrance. A boy, his arms crossed, his back leaning against the brick wall, looking as out of place as she felt. He had messy black hair and a cold, almost indifferent expression on his face.

It was Keisuke Baji. She knew him from the few times he'd been in the same class as her

As she approached, YN couldn't help but feel a strange sense of nervousness. She wasn't used to people looking at her, let alone talking to her.

"Are you alright?" Keisuke's voice was low, almost like he didn't care if she heard him. His eyes were fixed on her, though, studying her. She shifted uncomfortably under his gaze.

YN hesitated before speaking,  "I'm fine," she said, her voice shaking.

Keisuke raised an eyebrow, unconvinced. "You don't look fine," he said bluntly.

"I'm just tired," she muttered, but the lie felt heavy on her tongue. She was always tired.

He didn't say anything at first. Instead, he took a step closer, his eyes narrowing slightly as if he was trying to figure her out. "You're not eating, are you?" he asked, his tone sharper now,

YN felt panic rise in her chest.

"Look, I don't know what your deal is," Keisuke continued, his voice more distant now. "But it's weird. You're always by yourself, always... like this. It's kinda depressing."

YN didn't know how to respond  she didn't have the energy.

she stayed silent, staring at the ground.

Keisuke seemed to notice her discomfort . "You know, I don't get why people make things so complicated. Life's already hard enough without everyone acting like they know everything."

YN looked up at him, surprised. He wasn't looking at her with judgment. He was... frustrated, maybe even angry. But it wasn't directed at her.

"I didn't ask for your help," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Keisuke shrugged. "I'm not trying to help. I'm just saying. You don't have to be so... miserable." He paused, as if reconsidering his words. "I don't like seeing people like you. It's weird. But it's your life, I guess."

YN looked at him, unsure of what to say. For a moment, she thought he might walk away, but he didn't. Instead, he just stood there, his expression softening for a moment before he spoke again.

"Anyway," he said, "don't let them get to you. They don't know shit."

Keisuke pushed himself off the wall and started walking away, but then he paused, glancing back at by the way. "If you ever need a place to... not be alone, you can find me around or Chifuyu , he looks intimidating but in the font he is cool ."

YN didn't know how to respond, but before she could think of anything, he was already gone, disappearing into the crowd of students leaving the school grounds.

For the first time that day, YN felt a strange sense of warmth creeping up in her chest. She wasn't sure what Keisuke had meant but she felt loved for one time ..

Maybe he was right. Maybe she didn't have to be miserable. But for now, she wasn't sure if she was ready to believe it.
