Masachika is sitting on the sofa in the living room after walking Masha home. Emotions ran through his thoughts while he rested. Confusion, anxiety, tiredness, and guilt are all felt at the same time because not only is he not ready to become a father, he also doesn't have any plans on being in a relationship with Masha because he already likes Alya. He even hoped Masha would forget about the promise he made to Masha about a secret romantic date that would make her heart flutter.
What is this feeling? I feel so guilty for Alya, even though what happened wasn't in our control at that time. But it still feels heavy as if I betrayed Alya of my promise.
Masachika sat there feeling more guilty about the thought he just had. He remembered all the times he spent with Alya, including the ones where his hands touched certain parts in an uncertain manner.
"Ghh! What's wrong with me?! Now's not the time for those thoughts!"
Masachika cringed for a moment, but the feeling of guilt still returned as he sat there. He thinks that because Masha is bearing his child, that automatically means he can't be with anyone other than Masha because of the responsibility that emerged that he has to fulfill.
Masachika still can't accept the fact that he didn't tell Alya how he felt about her, how she made him find a reason to motivate himself again, or perhaps Alya was the reason why he felt motivated. Masachika fell in love with Alya because of her determination to keep thriving, not for anyone but for herself. But judging by the circumstances that the current situation has, he thinks that it would be impossible to choose her now. Masachika let out a big sigh and spoke to himself.
"I guess... This is good bye to those feelings, Alya-san."
=======================================
Alya is dashing through the streets that lead to Masachika's house. Sweating and panting as she ran as fast as she could. Her heart is beating fast while she is running in the cold of the evening.
Alya thinks that no matter the circumstances, nothing can stop her from expressing her love for Masachika, even if it will be the first and last time she's able to. This feeling in her heart right now-she feels she can't hold it in anymore, and she feels like she needs to release it.
"Hahhh~ hahhh~"
Her panting could be heard while she was running; her legs wouldn't stop because of the feeling in her heart, the feeling of love that she could finally confidently express to Masachika.
Alya arrived at Masachika's apartment and quickly went to the front door. She took a short rest to catch her breath. Alya thought to herself while panting.
This is it; there's no more holding back now, no more teasing in Russian, and say it to him clearly!
Her heart raced, a drumbeat in her ears, as her finger hovered over the doorbell. She started to get more nervous, but she knows no one can hold her back. As her index finger finally touched the doorbell, her nervousness climaxed even more.
N-Now I just need to w-wai-
Alya's thoughts were interrupted by the door opening.
!!!
Alya's eyes widened as she saw Masachika on the other side of the door. Masachika then asked with a confused face.
"A-Alya?! What are you doing here?"
Alya braced herself as she was about to finally confess to Masachika.
"M-Masachika-kun, I-I-"
Her heart pounded harder even more, as if she couldn't say it because of the strong feeling of love for him. Alya then thought to herself.
