Sammy's P.O.V
I nod at Jack J, and he leaves. I smile at Skate, kissing his cheek.
"I'll be back." I say before I leave the room.
When I get to the door I see someone, I never wanted to see.
"Dad. What the fuck?" I yell.
"Hey son. I.. Um. I heard you were in town. And I want to ask you something." He says awkwardly.
I go on the porch he follows.
"You have three minutes."
" I just came to see if you grew out of the phase." He crosses his arms.
"What phase?" I ask narrowing my eyes at him.
"The gay phase."
"Damn it dad. What don't you fucking understand. Me being gay is not a phase. I only like boys." I yell.
"This is only a phase. I will not allow my only son to be gay. God doesn't allow this." He snarls.
"God was the one who created me." I snap back.
In less than three seconds, I see my dad raise his hand, my cheek stinging.
"You do not spe-" he starts.
"Is there a problem here?" Skate raises his eyebrow. Gilinsky and Johnson stepping onto the porch with him.
"Is he the reason your like this?" my dad asks.
He slaps me once again. But before he can say anything. Skate pushes him against the house.
"Don't touch him."
"I can do what ever the fuck I want. He's my son." My dad snaps back
Soon my dad punches Skate, then Skate punches my dad. Then his nose starts bleeding.
I see a spot of black pop up in Skates eye.
"Get my dad out of here." I yell to Jack and Jack, pulling Skate into the house.
I take Skate to the couch, seeing more specks of black.
"Stay with me Skate." I say sitting next to him.
"Please stay with me." I whisper, and kiss him.
Pulling away I see him blink a few times before the black spots disappear.
I've never seen Skates smile so big.
"You did it." I whisper wrapping my arms around him.
"No. You did it." He whispers, hugging me.
