Lucy's POV

I hated everything about this building. The white walls were awful and being in math was pure torture. Miss Strauss seemed to cheery and polite it made me sick to my stomach. 'Will this bitch stop talking for one second?! Where's Mira and Cana when I need them?! They probably don't have the same classes as me... at least I had Levy but she has somebody. Ughhh I can't stand couples! I was happy for her but the PDA wasn't needed!" I sighed listening to the teacher speak writing her equations on the board. "Please have a pencil out and turn to your worksheet page three! Number four! This particular problem requires you to show your work. I'm going to walk you through it and the rest you will do in class or for homework! First we are dealing with Radical Equations! Where you have to square both sides to get rid of the square root. Like so." She wrote the equation with chalk on the green board.

Equation: √5x+1-6=0
√5x+1=6
√5x+1=(6)
5x+1=36
5x=35
X=?

"Who has the answer?" She asks looking across the room. I raised my hand since these dummies were to scared to answer it was pitiful. Levy also had hers up while the long black haired male was asleep beside her. "Hmmm... Lucy!" "It's seven." I dryly stated and she smiled nodding. "Correct! Did we all get the same result?" Some people replied and the syllabus was handed to everyone as she takes attendance.

"Cobra you and Loke need to stop cheating off of each other! This is an individual assignment. Not group work!" I laughed a little and returned back to my cold demeanor. I drew on the corner of my sheet an N and didn't realize it. I quickly erased it fast. I had no clue why I wrote that letter out of nowhere? Was I losing it in my mind?! I wanted this to be over.

"Good job Lu-Chan!" Levy-Chan whispered to me and I nodded to her. Lisanna was nice so she let us call her by name like Mr. Drag-Natsu. 'I wonder if they're together? He had a picture of her on his desk?' I felt a discomfort in my chest but wouldn't show it. The bell rings signaling it was time to leave.

"We will pick back up on this tomorrow! You have a quiz coming up to see what you know and how I will grade you this semester! If you would like to join tutoring after school or AP calculus the sign up clipboard will be on the door! Enjoy a wonderful rest of your day!"

After mental abuse to humans I went straight to my locker this time I saw Natsu heading into his classroom. He must've caught me staring as we made eye contact. His green eyes were beautiful but I disliked him. It would be too awkward to turn away. I swore my irises were playing tricks on me but he smiled which grew naturally larger and winked at me disappearing. I flared my nostrils and gather my things for science. Cana walked over teasing me and I dismissed it. "Oho~! Lucy's got the hots for Mr. Dragneel~! He's sexy with a fat ass to so I don't see why not~!" "What?! It's not like that! I'd rather be interested in a pillow! I don't want that corny mother—!"

"LUCYYY!" Mira waved at us and I was saved from the alcoholics taunts. "We have five minutes before Gray-Sensei closes his door. We don't want to be tardy!" The white haired beauty pulled us down the hall. I was trying not trip on my own two feet.
