i decided to do 2 ghost places in Texas due to me not finding much information on the first story. (i was interested in both which the first place came out very little information)

Moving onto Texas
Houston's most haunted bar
La Carafe

Built in 1837, originally owned by Kennedy Bakery, to be passed down through 5 generations before the now owners.

There's a ghost of Pamelia Mann, which is said to push pretty women down the stairs.
also a ghost has been spotted waving out the 5th story window
This building is also said to have been haunted by an African American man who is seen by visitors.

anyways let's get into the hauntings

The cowboy
Jesse Driskill, shortly after the hotel opened up, Jesse became finically unstable.. From booze, women and gambling. So, due to his loss of money he had to forfeit the Driskill Hotel
sightings of the cowboy
There's said to be a bunch, but one of his favorite rooms overlooks 6th street and brazos. So, one night, someone who stayed at the hotel in the room woke up to a man staring out the window puffing a cigar. The person who saw Jesse managed to say, "hey fella what are you doing to in my room?" It's said that Jesse looked back, gave him a look like, your room? and didn't say anything. The person snapped in the light and when it came on, he disappeared and the only thing left over was cigar smoke.

The bride (warning)
in the early 1990s, a distraught bride checked into room 329 of the driskill. Her fiancé had just called of their wedding. The woman decided to blow over 40k on a shopping spree, culinary free for all on her second day of mourning. On the third day, she lined up all her things she bought and took out a gun and blew her head off. She used a pillow to muffle the noises.
Hauntings
People see her walking down the hallway carrying a bunch of bags.

The child
A child is said to have died after fall to his death down the flight of stairs. This kid made a grab for his bouncy ball and overreached.
Paranormal investigators have managed to catch the faint sound of a ball ping - ponging against the wall, and hearing mischievous giggles.

The painting
A painting found in the 5th floor of the hotel, the painting is unnamed. But, it's based off the painting by Charles Garland, called "love letter."

Ghost hunters claim that, this painting depicts a four year old daughter of U.S senator, Lea Houston who died a horrible accident at the hotel. People who walk by the painting usually feel a presence of something sinister.

The Potus
A power couple, lady bird and LBJ. The pair had their first hook up / date in 1934 in the driskill dining room. For years they'd come to this hotel, for their glory days or special occasions.
Lyndon Johnson's (LBJ) favorite place was the Driskill when he came to Austin. So much that he watched the presidential election in 1964 from the presidential suite. After the bagged the Ballots, he addressed his supporters in the ballroom. The driskill was quite possible LBJs favorite place in Austin.
To this day people recount stumbling in the ball room, and catching reflection of the late president and his adoring wife on the mirror or out the corner of their eyes.

The Driskill hotel told me so many different stories that overlapped and confused me so i might just end it off like this. What i mean by that is the websites I guess got confused? The painting and the child overlapped maybe they both died from the same death? It just confuses me when websites tell me different stuff. So, if you're interested in the Driskill hotel id probably watch videos on it. They probably got better sources than me. 😭 But, there's other hauntings my head is just aching cause I don't understand
