Ladies first

By the time we arrive, it's barely dark out. We got here earlier than I expected. 

I text Sebastion and let him know that we're outside. He almost immediately responds and makes his way outside. 

"Hey you guys are early!" he says walking out all sweaty and red. 

"ew, why do you look like you just ran 10 miles" I say making a face at him as we head to the back of the truck. 

"I was working out, but now we get to move all your shit inside so it's about to get a lot worse"

I look over at Alex and find her looking at Sebastion with a blank face. She was definitely judging him.   

"Alright let's get started," Sebastion says as he opens the back of the truck. 

He climbs in and grabs the first box he can reach. Alex and I follow him to the front door before he opens the door and stops. 

"Ladies first," He says smirking at Alex. 

we both say 'omg' as we pass him and roll our eyes at each other. 

We both knew Sebastion liked Alex a little more than he liked any girl. Not enough to be in a relationship with her or anything, but he was definitely keen on her. And I trusted Alex not to do anything stupid because of it, so we just laughed it off when he did stuff like that.

Once we get everything inside, Sebastion lets us know that we're going out to dinner so we can meet his friends.

"NOOO! I want to stay home and decorate my room" Alex says as we're gathered around the kitchen. 

"Sorry Princess, not happening," Sebastion says as he takes the cheese sticks from her hands and puts them back in the fridge" 

I laugh as I head upstairs to get ready, Alex following behind. We get to my room, and I start digging through my boxes to find an outfit. I end up picking a white fitted long-sleeve shirt and dark-washed boot-cut jeans.  

As I'm nearly done with my makeup Alex walks into the bathroom wearing a black sweater and baggy jeans, with her hair pulled in a bun. 

"You look so good omg," I tell her as I turn back to the mirror and continue to blend my makeup. 

"YOU look good!!," She takes a long pause as she looks at my room "I can't wait to get back and start my room!!" She tells me. 

"you're gonna be way too tired at that point, it's already 7:30" 

"Yeah maybe, I mean who even goes out to dinner at 7:30?" She asks me. She fixes a curl I missed on the back of my head by twisting it with her finger as she passes me to sit on the bathtub ledge. "At least we look cute" I agree but can only make an 'mhm' sound as I put my lipstick on. 

"I'm just hoping they like us! Sebastions friends I mean" I say as I start brushing out my curls once they're all cooled off. 

"Yeah, but no one's replacing me" She says, looking up at me from the bathtub. I smile at her as I turn the bathroom light off, and gesture for her to walk out first. "Ladies first," I say in my best boy voice.

She laughs and says "That's not funny" 

"then why'd you laugh?" I ask smiling behind her. We head to the stairs and meet Sebastian in the entryway. 

"alright let's get this over with," Alex says in front of me as we walk down the stairs.
