After I make sure I have all my things, I set off in the direction of the hospital Mom works at. All Might may be stupid, but I want to make sure that my lungs won't get an infection from the sludge that just so happens to smell like sewage. The thought makes me gag, which then graduates into another coughing fit.

When I walk in the door, the lady at the counter recognizes me right away. "Hi, Izuku-chan," she waves, then pauses at my rumpled appearance. "Are you alright?"

"Hi, Michi-sensei," I grin sheepishly, rubbing the back of my neck. "I might have been attacked by a villain..."

"YOU WHAT!?" she screeches, going wide-eyed. She races around the counter, stopping just before she could run into me. "Explain," she demands, grabbing my arm and practically dragging me over toward the waiting bench.

"You should have come to Urgent Care!" she scolds, concern still lacing her voice.

"The pro said I looked uninjured," I say, "While I don't completely trust their judgment, they still must have had some medical training."

"Still, a villain attack! C'mon, let's get you to a room to get checked out," once again, Michi-sensei grabs my arm, but releases me once I'm on my feet. She knows that I don't like being touched, but sometimes her worry overrides that knowledge.

While leading me over to a room, Michi-sensei calls my Mom.

"Yes, Inko-san? Izuku-chan came in after being attacked by a villain– no, he doesn't look physically hurt, but I'm bringing him over to a room to be checked out now. Yes, please meet us there."

"Well, your lungs are half full of sludge," a nurse I had never met before tells me, my Mom sobbing into her handkerchief beside me. "You basically have Walking Pneumonia right now. (Walking Pneumonia - a less serious form of the lung infection pneumonia. Caused by bacteria or viruses. Most people won't feel sick enough to stay home. Your lungs fill up with fluids caused by the bacteria. While recovering, you cough the fluids out.) The only real difference is that it's not contagious, and that it wasn't caused by the normal means."

"So I'll be fine?" I ask, mostly just to make my Mom feel less worried.

"Yes," she smiles. "You'll be back to normal in a few weeks to a month at most."
