Mr Harrison gulped, he was literally scared of her. " Leah calm down, I have my reasons, they had promised to help get your mom's necklace back" he rushed. Okay that wasn't the real truth, he had always known where the necklace had been all this years but, he just kept it for the right moment like this.
HER MOM'S NECKLACE, Leah froze as soon as he had mentioned it, she remembered faintly how her mom had always cherished and loved the necklace, her mom had promised to give it to her when she turned Eighteen but she apparently never got the chance to as she left this world earlier than expected.
Mr Harrison smirked, he knew his word had an effect on her, he loved Leah but he considered his business more or more like his new wife Edie had brain washed him into doing what he was doing. " What is your take In this" Leah suddenly asked she wasn't stupid, she knew him more than anyone else.
" They said if you considered marrying to their son, they will not only help to get the necklace but they would also help to expand our business"
Leah stood there transfigured to the floor, she never really liked their grandson and she had promised herself she wasn't going to get into this marriage and love nonsense, but her mom's necklace, this was all her step mother's fault, they had wanted to get married to Vivian her step sister but the Benjamin's were always known to be very cruel and hostile, so she changed the deal and gave Leah instead but Leah had always stood her ground, and said she didn't want the marriage and everyone knew that one Leah had made up her mind about something, nothing could make her change it.
But, the Bengamins were becoming impatient and Mr Harrison knew, no one knew he was oweing them a huge sum and he was given the option of paying up or giving up one of his daughters and no he couldn't give up his dear Vivian to those cruel people at least Leah was very hard, he could just give her up and apologize later. He stood there waiting to hear her response. To Leah it was a tempting offer but on her hand, her father never knew that she had found out that he was oweing a huge sum and wanted to use her as payment, there was no way she was going to let him hurt her a second time.
" I already told you, Mr Harrison I'm not doing it" Mr Harrison was shocked, even at the expense of her mom's necklace??
" But Leah, the Business......"
" You can all go to hell with you blood damn business" she yelled visible angry now.
" How about your mom's necklace" was he trying to threaten her now.
" I already told you, I would find it myself even if it's the last thing I do,and I would make sure to kill  the one who took it from her that night" They never had a conversation without arguing.
" Fine since you don't want it the easy way that's your choice, Leah I am your father and I know what's best for you,if you won't get married to their grandson willing, we would do it forcefully" Mr Harrison yelled back
" If it was so good why don't you let your beautiful and beloved daughter Vivian get married to them" Leah said in a calm mocking tone, she had just hit his soft spot.
" Don't you dare bring your sister into this Leah"
"Why not???" She chuckled darkly
Mr Harrison staggered to his feet unstable, he still had slight symptoms of his trauma, the veins on his head popping out as beads of sweat dangled on his face, his hand dug deep into his hair as he tried to control himself. Leah watched unmoved, she didn't care even if he died. His wife and daughter Edie and Vivian bursted through the door, they had been eaves dropping on them, Leah was aware that they were standing by the door. " Raymond" she cried, running to  him, while Vivian searched the drawers for his medicine, they were soon able to calm him down as they glared at Leah who stood there not caring what was happening.
" Apologize to your father right now, you rascal" Edie yelled, she hated Leah like no one else, Leah smirked
" Make me step mother" she dared. This was how there house had always been each person battling against each other. It was such a pity.
